You’ve met Ben… but have you met Tonya?

Tonya Willingham needs little introduction - over the last 10 years she has run 2 highly regarded and successful Equine Therapy Centres with water treadmills in the UK. Within these centres she worked with vets and physios to tailor water treadmill plans for individual horses.

Her current role is Training & Operations Manager for FMBs Therapy Systems, but she can be found on the treadmill at Equine Aqua Power most Saturdays. 😍👌🏼

Did you know? A 2023 study showed that just 20 sessions on the water treadmill caused a significant increase in back muscle development in warmblood horses. 💪

Guess what’s back… ARENA EVENTING! 🤩🙌🏼

We know how much you all love our Arena Eventing so make sure to get Saturday 11th October 2025 in your diaries for our first show back of the AE season! 🥳

Not sure what Arena Eventing entails?

🐴 All classes will include:
- A section of show jumps
- A section of simulated cross-country and natural fences (mix of fixed and knockdown fences)

🐴 Cross-country section will be timed

🐴 Winner = fastest time over the timed section

🐴 Classes will run under Single Phase rules

🐴 Penalties:
- 4 seconds added for each refusal on the non-timed part of the course
- 10 seconds added for a knockdown
- 3 refusals in total = elimination

🐴 Elimination also applies for:
- Dangerous riding (judges/steward decision)
- 1st fall of rider
- Fall of horse

🐴 Judges’ decision is final

🐴 BE compliant XC kit must be worn

🐴 Stop watches and GoPro cameras are not permitted
