A lovely message from Pugsley’s family

Hello just wanting to say a huge thank you too each and everyone of you who I spoke to and helped with our beautiful boy Pugsley.
Been a week today and was by far the hardest thing we have ever had to do but all you guys made such a huge difference and things a little more bearable.
If and when we are in that situation again we wouldn’t think twice about going through you guys thanks form us all xx

A lovely recommendation

So caring, kind, no rushing.
We wanted to say our goodbyes at home and this was just perfect. In her favourite spot.
Vicki was just wonderful.

A lovely message from Dave’s family

Thankyou so much Vicki for coming out to Dave last week.
It was heartbreaking to have to make the decision to let him go but the service you provided helped us enormously.
Dave welcomed you with a kiss despite not being able to get up. He was relaxed and looked so comfortable as he drifted off to sleep with his family and favourite toys around him.
The service you provide is so much better than having to go into a surgery and I’d recommend you 100% to any pet owners having to say goodbye.

A lovely message from Livi’s family

So caring, kind, so thoughtful, loving understanding, lots of empathy our beautiful giant girl Livi ( Newfoundland) was relaxed with lots of love around her, no rushing, lots of time if needed to say our goodbyes in our own home it was so heart breaking but also so beautiful in a strange way.
From start to finish could not have been better so a massive Thank you to all at Serenity you truely are all the very Best & i passed on your details to our doggy friends ###

A lovely recommendation from Bessie’s family

Vicki visited us a couple of weeks ago to help our old lady Labrador, Bessie, pass over to the next place.

It was so much better for her to be in her home environment because as Vicki found out, she was excitable and daft as a brush right until the end, despite all her health problems. Plus she got to fall asleep on the floor, in the most awkward place possible, which was her favourite thing to do for most of her life 🥹

The last time we’d had to have one of our dogs euthanised was during Covid and it was horribly impersonal, so being able to let our other dogs come and see her afterwards and spend a little time with her was wonderful and I think it helped them to understand what had happened.

I 100% recommend Serenity if you are in the unfortunate position to have to make this hugely difficult decision.

A lovely recommendation

I will 100% recommend serenity vet services. They came to us a few weeks ago to have my beloved border collie pts. The lady who came was so lovely and made it a really peaceful time. Every time I called up everyone I spoke to on the phone was also lovely. I would never take my pet to a vets now I’ve had these. My dog wasn’t aware of anything scary, if we’d of took her to the vets she would have been terrified. Thankyou so much serenity vets.
I even got a nice card from them in the post to say sorry for our loss ❤️ Thankyou xx

I just wanted to say thank you for everything, it’s one of the hardest things iv ever had to do saying good by to her but what you offer made it so much easier.
It took the panic out of having to take her over to the vets. She hated being in a carrier and would have been scared in her last moments which doesn’t bare thinking about.
Instead with you coming here to us it was calm and peaceful and definitely made it a little easier to deal with. So thank you and for the card we received with sympathy afterwards which was a lovely gesture. 🙏 🤍 xx

20 years ago today I became a qualified veterinary surgeon
Life as a vet has many ups and downs but I have never had any doubts that this is the profession that I am meant to be part of.
My job allows me to help so many pets and their families and I finish every day knowing I have made a difference 😊
