How hot is too hot for your dog? š„µ
āØItās a question I get asked a lot - especially when we get a rare warm spell like this in the UK! š
Thereās no one-size-fits-all answer. Some temperatures are a definite NO for all dogs, but others require a bit more thought depending on your dogās breed, age, size, health & individual needs šāš¦ŗ
If in doubt - donāt go out! ā
āØHeatstroke is no woofing joke! Use the back-of-the-hand test on pavements, choose cooler times of day & always prioritise their comfort & safety over going for a walk just for the sake of it āŗļø
Enrichment at home, short garden breaks & chilled play time inside with a fan & some relaxing background noise (like on YouTube or a talk-radio station) can be just as beneficial for their wellbeing š¶
