After they had all enjoyed a good run around and search games we did a 2 minutes down stay (with distractions), followed by some send away and recall with a half way drop training for Cracker 🐾💕 ###

Very sadly we have to say goodbye to our weekend boarders today as their holiday is over and it's time for them to go home. I think they've enjoyed their stay with us and had lots of fun and games 🐕🚶♀️🐾💕 ###

Another lovely ⛅️ early morning whilst it was nice and cool for the dogs (and us) and they were able to have over 2 hours of fun and games down the 🌳wood🌲before we returned home for Pickle, Cherry, Cracker and Maui to chill out in the cool whilst I took Ned, Nellie and Sabi to visit my Uncle.
We were in luck as they had just finished cutting the cornfield so we were able to have a🐕🚶♀️ walk around the headland, and then it was lovely to sit under the trees for a chat before returning home to the others 🐾💕 ###

Nearly three hours of fun down the 🌳wood🌲 this morning whilst it was nice and cool⛅️, with a lovely breeze under the trees.
We all enjoyed a lovely 🐕🚶♀️walk only marred by Harper deciding to jump in the water 💧trough 🙈 and boy did he 'stink!' 🙄, which meant he had to have a 🛁🚿 bath before we could go 🏡 home 😂.
They all enjoyed some search games for hidden treats in the grass under the trees, 🌳 and some fun in the paddling pool.
Plus it's amazing how many friends you suddenly find you have when you stop for a break 🤣💕🐾 ###

Another lovely 🌞 morning. It was lovely in the shade of the 🌳 trees🌲with a pleasant breeze.
We spent over 3 hours 🚶♀️🐕 down the wood. A lot of fun was had including exploring through the undergrowth and search games for the dogs which they all enjoyed. Then back home to chill out 🐾💕 ###

What another lovely 🌞 sunny day! We spent over 5 hours down the🌲 wood 🌳. The dogs really enjoyed themselves running around playing chase and search games. They are all feeling rather tired now as am I 💕🐾 ###

Some days it's a pleasure to be out 🌞, today not so much 🌧.
Don't get me wrong I love my job and love spending my time with the dogs; watching, interacting and supervising how they communicate with each other but I'm getting a tad fed up now of wet dogs, wet coats, wet beds, wet everything! Constantly washing and trying to keep the house clean whilst providing a fun environment for my little friends to 😴 sleep and play in when it should be the easier time of year.
As Inch said this morning maybe we will get an 'indian summer' in October ☺️.
Not that it bothers the dogs at all... they love going out whatever the weather 😂🐾💕🐕 ###

We had a lovely walk🚶♀️🐕 this morning down the wood. All the dogs 🐕 had a good time playing games with a bit of training thrown in 😆 alongside bonus hidden treats 🥓🍖🥩.
The lovely Inspector Digby (we love Digby) went home this morning after his holiday with us and we now have the adorable Bertie staying for a little break. Plus it was lovely to have Axel and Poppy for the day who get on really well together.
We went back down the wood this afternoon for some fun before coming back home to chill out 🐾💕 ###

Oh what a nice wet 🌧 day... not! We managed to get our first walk completed before it came down heavily. I think everyone was happy to be dropped off back home.
After our second walk we were all drenched and glad to get home in the dry! Tilly decided it was so wet that she would sit in the feed shed whilst the others did a search for treats hidden in the grass and Ned was happy to get in his hideehole to dry off when we got back before it was time to help Inch get lunch 😀🐾💕 ###

What a lovely 🌞 morning even if I did start at 5.30am 😂.
Three dog 🐕 walks🚶♀️completed and they've all had fun. First lot (house dogs) down the wood 🌳🌳🌳 before 7am and stayed with Inch 😘🥰, whilst I collected the second lot and walked them 7.20-8.15am (30 min walk) and then I took them home and walked the next lot; before taking Maisy back at 9.30am to meet her owner.
Straight back down the wood 🌳🌳🌳 to walk the day boarders and do a few jobs. We finally came home at 11.40am after 15,187 steps so far, a 25 min walk, 30 min walk and 64 min walk, all plants watered, day dogs and mine loose and having fun for over 3 hours exploration down the wood, including paddling in the pool plus I've swept the coral and weeded!
Now home first lot of washing hung out, hoovered, paperwork started and completely knackered! 😂😂😂
Thank goodness for Nicki's 😋 yummy cake 🥮, whilst Ned helps Inch prepare his lunch 😋😂 💕🐾🐕 ###

Despite the hot weather its lovely and cool under the trees 🌳, with a nice breeze. So, in order to avoid them 🐕 running around we did some stay training today. A 2 minute down stay and 1 minute sit stay. We have Cracker's brother Nelson visiting and they were so good 👍🥰 🐾 ###

27*C and rising! We are so lucky to have the wood; so the dogs had the benefit of a lovely, enjoyable short walk in the shade of the 🌳 trees 🌳, early this morning when it was cool. They are now chilling out in the house with the curtains and blinds closed to keep the heat out. We have cool mats and the fans on to help keep them cool 🐾🐶 ###

After a hard day's work everyone is chilling out ☺ ###
We had a really enjoyable walk this afternoon. It has been a lovely day although a bit of a cold wind however with a smart walking pace I soon warmed up. Today we walked from Uffington to Fernham and then back along the footpaths to Moor Mill. It was a bit muddy, I can tell you, and reminded me of when Emma was working at the stables in Woolstone and lost her wellies when they were sucked off in the deep mud as she was turning the horses out! I was just glad I had remembered to put my wellies on as I held on to the fence whilst I negotiated the mud, slipping and sliding about, to get to the footpath bridge meanwhile the dogs just skipped sure footed around me 😂. Maybe I won't go that route for a bit 🤔. Anyway the dogs loved it and we practiced their 'wait' and 'come' which they really enjoyed. It's surprising what they enjoy doing for a treat. They are such good girls. I can't say they were quite so keen on being hosed off when we got back to the wood but boy were they muddy ### #labrador #labradorretriever #dogs #dogtraining
As it was such a dark and dismal wet morning we decided to avoid the muddy footpaths and road walk instead. We opted for a lovely walk around Woolstone; such a pretty village but very quiet today as everyone was indoors, which based on how wet and muddy we still got appeared to be quite sensible. Just love these three dogs (Pepper, Pickle and Cherry). They are so well behaved together and walk so nicely by my side and really enjoy their walks ❤ ###
Lovely walk this afternoon to Fawler and then across the footpaths back to the fox cover. We did get a bit muddy and I really should have worn my wellies and not jodhpur boots. My only real problem was lifting a 38kg Pickle over the stile!! 🤣 ### #labradorretriever #labradors #dogs #dogwalker #dogwalk
