We are so grateful to have the sponsorship from Ikkos Equestrian for Oreo, Tino and Dj. Between aukward head conformation and fussy in the mouth was why i chose these 3 horses and they all seem much happier allready 🥰

NMW Riding Academy went to the unaffiliated sunshine tour at Netherton last weekend its was super fun! 🤩 4 days of showjumping, hobby horses, disco, 💃🏼 prizes, paddling in the river, lots of fun would recommend for next year. Was so good to see not only one riding school there but 5! Well done guys giving riders without their own horse the opportunity to compete!
Jossy and Blaze jumped fab each day in the 60 and managed a 6th place rosette, Ava and Lady had some super rounds really getting to know each other well, Rose jumped Jimmy round the 60 had some super rounds and managed a 6th place.
Kelsi and Storm jumping fab round the 60 and 70 and managed a 6th Place. Albert found himself a fan club 🥰 his jumping technique imporoved and he tried so hard.
Sophie and Arthur managed a First and a 3rd place in the 80.
Rach and Kitkat placed in every class. Kitkat jumped absolutely mega and tried their first 110 together.
We will put the date in the diary for next year 🤩
Thank you to the parents and helpers who came and thank you and well done to all the riders who really helped and supported not only each other but other riders that they didnt know too 🥰

Had a great time at Camp at Shoemakers with our Liveries. Sammy and Chris were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time! 🥰🐴

In amongst the busy camp season we have managed to make it out to a few shows 🥰 last weekend was findon riding club show at Loan head and this weekend New deer show 🥰 some brilliant placings collected from team NMW at both shows.
Findon RC show
Sophie and Arthur - 2nd in the 70cm workers and 3rd in the 80cm
Kayleigh and DJ 3rd in the 60cm and 5th in the 70cm workers
Freya and Charlie
4th in the 60cm, 6th in the 70cm
Libby and Molli
1st in ridden M&Ms and 1st in riding club pony also taking chanpion inhe section and
Reserve champion for rideen section.
Rach and Kitkat 2nd in 90 and 1m workers
Rach and Albert 4th in ridden horse, and 2nd in the ridden Cob class.

Kelsi and albert went into the main ring into a huge clas sof potential ride and drive horses in hand.
Kelsi and Bear won the 60cm workers
Callie and Oreo were 4th place in ridden coloured
Callie also managed a clear in the 50cm workers
Kayleigh and Dj did a great job of turn out and headed into the M&M workers.
Carys did a brilliant job Course manager for the workers course!
Kitkat, Bear and Oreo making it into the rather exciting parade with a pipe band and zip wire 😬😂
Well deserved few days off now for the horses before the next camp starts.
A huge thank you to the parents, volunteers and staff who make this all possible and help where and when they can! It is not unnoticed 🥰 also thank you to Kelsi for helping me course build on friday and libby and sharon for helping turning out my horses on friday 🤩
It takes a whole team to go to to these shows including the staff left behind at home who do a great job too!

We have a good mixture of ponies but i completely agree with this!

Back in my riding school days I remember the ‘strong’ ponies, the ‘bucking’ ponies, the ‘nappy’ ponies, the ‘stubborn’ ponies…

I don’t remember a “confidence giver” ever being a ‘thing’…

I remember I wanted to ride, and i wanted to LEARN to ride… and that involved ‘getting back on the horse’…
