Last week some friends and I had a fantastic retriever training morning with Jo Rollinson at her ground near Mildenhall.

Jo set exercises up according to the level of the group and the areas we had said we needed to specifically work on.

We had:
- walked up,
- water,
- d***s,
- banks,
- jumps,
- marks,
- memories,
- blinds,
- shot,
- launchers,
- bang boxes,
- and of course excellent tuition.

We finished the morning with a cup of tea, group chat and some doughnuts (thank you to Roy!) ….. a thoroughly lovely day 😊 🐾 🍩

Jo has availability for 121s and private group sessions, as well as the option to hire her ground for your own group training (with or without a dummy thrower).

The dictionary definition of the word 'Fun' is "Enjoyment, amusement or light-hearted pleasure".....
....If there was a visual dictionary that used imagery, these photos would be the definition 😆 📸 🐾

Yesterday we had the honour of testing out the Cheveley Dog Park before it officially opens on Thursday 🐾

The dogs had an absolute ball exploring the ground and obstacles that have been built, before enjoying a bit of down time in the shade of the Tunnel!
3 very happy dogs!

The park is very well thought out and I know that Simon already has more ideas in the pipeline to make you and your dogs experience even more fun!

The online booking system will be opening very soon so make sure you follow the Facebook & Instagram pages and be ready to book your session....I've already heard a lot of people talking about this so I'm sure it will be very popular when it opens on Thursday.

There are a handful of spaces left for the Charity Working Test on Sunday 6th July to be held at Suffolk Pet Crematorium in Great Saxham, Bury St Edmunds in aid of Medical Detection Dogs &

Among others, we are hoping to present a 'Junior Handler' award, so we are particularly keen to fill up some of these entries with those under 16 years of age (handler not dog!) to encourage the younger generation.

However, everyone is welcome. We have both NDNH & Novice classes, with spaces especially available in the Novice class.

💧 More 121 & shared water sessions added for NEXT THURSDAY!! 💧

Due to the popularity of the water sessions last week I have put some more slots up for Thursday 24th April.

These take place at a small are of water with gentle slopes in no far from my training ground.
The sessions are especially good for building confidence in the water and for working on delivery.

🚘 🌟 New Parking Rules 🌟 🚙

Now the ground is drier, the ropes and mats have (mostly) been removed and there will be a system in place 🚥 👌🏼

🟢 = You’re ok to drive on the grass and park up if you wish, but please stay in the vicinity of the car parking area

⛔️ = Please stay on the hardcore area as the ground is too wet.

When it’s dry, this will mean that we don’t get to break to record of ‘how many cars can we squeeze onto the hardcore?’..….!

….But it hopefully means we should also avoid anybody needing towing out if we do get some rain (less wine for me for my towing efforts though sadly 🥂 😂)!

Now I just need to remember to turn them around appropriately 😁

🌟 Spaces Available 🌟 in the Double Dog (basics) workshop.

Tuesday 1st April - 5:30-7:30pm

Do you have more than one dog? ….

….It is important to make sure each dog has their one to one time, but it’s equally important (and useful) that you’re able to handle both together as well.

This workshop will include basic exercises based on obedience and retrieving, as well as looking at the commands you use for your dogs and how to handle them together.
