Last week Friday a small group got together to another fantastic "Networking Neighs" event at HorseSense UK. It was so hot that the herd had a little nap. Just to say, last Friday I went out and met some truly lovely people at HorseSense UK "Networking Neighs". The sun was shining 🌞 and the conversations were brilliant. Anwen from Get Fruitful Business for Good (from Kent & Beyond) held the speaker slot about Marketing. It was great very inspirational and it was fab to be outside! 🐴🦄🐴 The blog write up and pictures of the day is in the comment section. I know, I know!
I haven't been active on here lately, but to be truthful lockdown has been tough from a photographic point of view! I am still here though and now that we are coming out of lockdown and Covid numbers are going down I can start thinking about booking in clients again soon. I realised I missed being around my clients and their lovely animals. So watch this space, ...

Seeing we are in lockdown a while longer, ... I asked myself the other day what childhood films I used to watch that had animals in it. As I grew up in Germany my list is probably going to be different to yours.

I used to love:

🍿 “Lassie”
🍿 “Zorro” the very old B&W version not the Antonio Banderas version
🍿 “Winnetou” (which might not be known in the UK)

Yesterday was "Blue Monday"- Have you got a blue dog?
I have got 2 cats, they are not blue! I do miss my cuddles with my clients dogs, ... 😥 - give them a hug from me! 🤗

What a year! Such a crazy year!

Despite being in tier 4, here in Kent, I think Christmas is still a magical time of year. Have you noticed that so many more people have put up Christmas lights this year.

Let's spread the joy of Christmas! 🎄 Hoping that we will be able to see our friends and family next year! 🥂🍾

I had the pleasure to attend a face to face networking event last week! And what is more, there were horses! It was comforting to spend some quality time outside my own home and chat with someone other than my family. The next one is on the 23rd April 2021! If you have time do join us!

What a year! Well as you can imagine, I have not been especially busy this year with my pet photography this year, first the lockdown in March and now the second lockdown. I have managed to do some socially distant equine photo shoots this year though. It required a lot of thinking on my part, not the "Oh, let me quickly show you where to pose, ..." but it worked out alright.
Tomorrow is Guy Fawkes night, I'm not sure how many firework will be let off but this is always an anxious time for pet owners. Stay well and safe!
