I have looked after gorgeous Fred and Gus for the last two and a bit years. Sadly, they live a little too far away now for me to continue looking after them, so I recently had my last visits to them. They are both such lovely and friendly cats, and I know that their new cat sitter will love them 🧡

Is anyone else looking forward to autumn as much as I am? I like to complain my way through summer and pretend that it’s not happening, and I am now very excitedly counting down the days to dark evenings and falling leaves and snuggling under blankets with a cat or two! 🍂

Summer does, however, mean many cats while their humans are on holiday! Starting off with beautiful Bonbon - the chattiest of cats! She always has so many things to tell me ❤️

Last night, Debbie and I had the sad but immense honour and privilege of being with Ethel when she peacefully went to sleep for the last time.

I have looked after Ethel for nearly three years now, and Debbie also got to know her very well over the last six months. She was a loving and gentle cat who enjoyed goat’s milk and putting her paw up to politely request more fuss. We shed many tears and gave her lots of kisses and told her how loved she is.

This pair are Bill and Bob aged 3. I have looked after them many times since they were kittens and taken them to vet appointments. Sadly, through no fault of their own (and no fault of their owner), they are looking for a new home. As you can see, they absolutely love each other so they come as a pair and can’t be separated. They are also indoor cats so they would need an indoor home or a home with a catio or a cat-proofed garden. They are sweet boys who enjoy playtime and cuddles, and they would love to have a new loving home to go to.

Thank you so much for the kind comments and messages that I have received about Tamale! Regular programming of kitty pictures will be resuming tomorrow! 🎉

Tamale is a little over a week into his treatment for neurological FIP. His eyes have returned to their natural blue colour after the virus turned them green, and his appetite has come back. Today he enjoyed some time in the garden and he even played a very gentle game of fetch with his favourite mouse! He still has a long way to go, but he has come so far already and I am breathing a little easier now!
