⭐️ Ruby ⭐️

Ruby is a young Royal Python, she is a pretty girl with some very cool eyes! She currently lives with one of our trusted foster carers. She enjoys a small weaner rat every 7-10 days 🐀

Unfortunately she is Viv defensive so will need someone who is patient and experienced enough to work with her on this but she usually handles well but can be nippy when scared.

⭐️ Hoggie ⭐️

Hoggie a very adorable young hognose who’s got some growing todo! He enjoys small mice every 5 days 🐭

He is your typical hognose all bluff no bite, he can be a hissy huffy snake to get out but once he’s out his tank he enjoys exploring his surroundings.

Hoggy has been here since April alongside the 2 sandfish skinks who were adopted earlier in August 😊

Ollie is lovely adult Royal Python, who currently lives with one of amazing foster carers. He’s currently eating small rats every 14 days 🐀

He’s a gentle shy boy who is looking for a forever home that can work with him at his pace, untill he’s comfortable with his surroundings.

⭐️ Cytryna ⭐️

She’s one seriously stunning corn snake but with some serious attitude to match! She will need an experienced home, as she is Viv defensive and doesn’t always tolerate handling, should would best suit someone who could offer her a larger than average home where she can just be watched then handled 🖤

Cytryna was found in a seagull sack in Camborne! She has been with us for around 3 months now after efforts to relocate her owners were unsuccessful.

Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, anyone responsible for an animal must take reasonable steps to meet its five welfare needs:

1. A suitable environment – appropriate housing, temperature, lighting, space and shelter.
2. A suitable diet – the right food and access to fresh water, appropriate to the species.
3. The ability to exhibit normal behaviour patterns – enough space, enrichment and opportunities to behave naturally.
4. To be housed with, or apart from, other animals as appropriate – depending on whether the species is social, solitary or territorial.
5. Protection from pain, suffering, injury and disease – including preventative care, appropriate husbandry and veterinary treatment when needed.

For reptiles, this means things like correct UVB, heating, humidity, enclosure size, enrichment, appropriate feeding and prompt veterinary care are not just “extras”.
They are directly tied to meeting legal welfare needs.
