The last few days since Betty’s operation have been tough for the whole family, and this has been the hardest post to write.
Unfortunately we have to share that our beautiful Betty crossed over Rainbow Bridge last Thursday ❤️.
Betty took a significant turn for the worse on Wednesday night and developed further complications and we sadly had to say goodbye to our little girl.
She joined our family on Christmas Eve 2014 and our lives were complete .
She was lucky to have a mentor in Bella our Choc Lab, who taught her the ropes and that always being kind and loving will result in many many more treats.
We are absolutely heartbroken and our lives will never be the same, but her spirit, character and unconditional love will never leave our hearts.
Her desire to always please and share happiness with everyone she meets regardless, and the knack of always doing the right thing, will remain and live on through everything we do at Bettypoo.
Betty was our inspiration and her legacy will continue.
When we’re unsure, disagree or need some help and support we will always ask the question “what would Betty do?”
and with a warm , knowing smile the answer will always be “whatever gets you the most treats” and that’s through being kind, caring and doing the right thing!
Thank you to everyone that has shared their love and kind words, it means so much ❤️
