It was time for Mini Ted to put his little legs into action for his afternoon trundle 😂🐶

No need for speed records today… Ted was very much in “slow and steady wins the walk” mode! 🐌💨 Plenty of sniffing, investigating and generally making sure absolutely NOTHING had changed since his last outing. 👀🌿

A few good sniffs, a bit of pottering about and plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon — job done 🥰🐾

🐾 NEW PACK MEMBER ALERT 🐾

Everyone, please welcome Daisy 🐶❤️ Our newest member of the Tail Trails Pack — a beautiful Border Collie with plenty of energy, character and, I suspect, a future career in keeping me on my toes 😂

For Daisy’s first official pack walk, I thought I’d make things nice and easy. Luckily, Copper already knows Daisy, so there was no awkward first day introductions… just straight into the important business of sniffing, exploring and generally causing trouble 😜

So off we headed down to the Water Meadows for a lovely walk together. 🌿🐾

Copper seemed to think, “Don’t worry Daisy, I’ll show you how we do things around here.”

Daisy, meanwhile, looked like she was already thinking, “Excellent… when do we start the running?” 😂

A great first walk together, lots of exploring, plenty of sniffs and two very happy dogs!

Welcome to the pack, Daisy 🐾❤️ We’re looking forward to plenty more adventures together 🐕💨

🚨 BREAKING NEWS… BETTY IS BACK 🚨😂🐾

After a 6 WEEK BREAK, the one and only Betty has returned to Tail Trails.

And yes… her legs are still apparently completely non-functional when it comes to going for a walk. 🤣

Today’s excuse was:

🗣️ “Walk? No thanks.”
🗣️ “My legs don’t work.”
🗣️ “I shall instead sprint around the living room and kitchen at 100mph because apparently THAT is absolutely fine!” 🏃‍♀️💨😂

So I thought I’d try something radical…

🍖 TREATS 🍖

And what do you know?

🚨 MIRACLE CURE 🚨

The legs suddenly worked.
The enthusiasm magically returned.
And Betty was suddenly VERY interested in going for a walk 😂

Honestly, Betty… you had me fooled for approximately 3 seconds.🤣

Today’s walk around the woods was all about taking it slow, having a good sniff, checking out every interesting smell and generally enjoying the peaceful morning. 🐶👃

Why hurry when there are trees to investigate, leaves to sniff and woodland mysteries to solve? 🤔😂

This morning Faith decided there was absolutely NO need to rush 😂

We took a lovely slow wander through the woods, stopping to sniff every single interesting smell and making sure not one leaf, tree or mysterious woodland noise went unnoticed. 👀🌿

Why walk quickly when you can take your time and enjoy the important things in life… like sniffing absolutely everything 🐶😂

One sniff here, a zoomie there, a quick debate over who gets to walk in front… and obviously plenty of time spent pretending they couldn’t hear me calling 👀🤣

Monday mornings don’t get much better than this 😎🐶 Fred was out enjoying the sunshine on a lovely stroll around the village, sniffing, exploring and making sure he didn’t miss a single important doggy message along the way👃😂

Someone clearly forgot to tell Faith that Mondays are supposed to be hard work… because she was absolutely loving life this morning😍🐶

We enjoyed a lovely sunny wander through the woods 🌳, followed by a little potter around the pocket park 🌿. Plenty of sniffing, exploring and checking out all the important doggy news along the way👃😂

Monday morning? What Monday morning?! 😂 These two were far too busy enjoying the sunshine 🌳🐶

Lexi and Marmite headed off for a lovely stroll through the woods before making their way over to the pocket park for a bit more exploring, sniffing and general doggy business. 🐾🌿👃

Plenty of sunshine, lots of interesting smells and, of course, a little bit of teamwork between these two woodland explorers 😍
