I’m currently on route to wales as, we’re competing at the royal Welsh show.
I’m away until Thursday, so I won’t be able to check and send messages much as not sure what the signal is like.

🥵Extreme weather alert 🥵

To all my clients that are booked in next week, we are in for a hot week.
So therefore I’ll be starting at 8am and soon as my first dog is due to go 30 mins before pick up, I’ll also message my afternoon dog to come around the same time as my first dog gets picked up. So all dogs should be done by midday before it gets too hot.

I’ll be messaging my clients individually as well as on here.

The grooming routine will alter. So your dog will have a dry cut at the beginning and then will be followed by being bathed then finally rough dried with the dryer.

💦All dogs will be offered drinking water throughout their grooming session. 💦

If any of my clients can’t accommodate this due to the heat and the welfare of your dogs, I would recommend rescheduling.

☀️To all my lovely clients,☀️
Due to the rise in temperature over the weekend and this week.
I’m unable to book emergency grooms or extra grooms at short notice.
My body can no longer cope working a lengthy amount time in this heat, as I found out on Saturday when I attended heathfield show with my 2 ponies. Even though I stayed in the shade when I could and had plenty of water, I still got very bad heat stroke and took me a while to recover.

Please if you have your dog/s booked this week or when we are going to have another heatwave, please think, to wether it’s better for your dog/s to be at home in the cool or to drag them out in this heat to have a groom which they will have the added heat of the dryer after they’ve had a bath.

🕊️I thought I’d let you all know that my family and I said our goodbyes to our first family dog this morning.
He was the grand age of 16 1/2, he’s was a little character since the day we picked him up as a pup.🕊️

Please excuse me if I end up balling my eyes out for a few weeks.

Update:
During 2025 i unfortunately had quite a few elderly doggies pass away due age and health conditions.
My books are now open for new clients, i’m a 1-2-1 dog groomer, I cater for all breeds of dog from puppies until they cross over the 🌈.

💰Prices:
Bath and dry’s starting from £35
Haircuts start from £45

🪳Fleas-
Any dogs that have got fleas, as a dog groomer, I have the right to send the dog home, as this will cause the dog groomer to close the rest of the day to disinfect anything with special chemicals.

🪳Flea treatment vs 🛁 bathing
If your dog’s flea treatment is due very close to the dog groomers. Please make sure you apply your dogs flea treatment 3 days before or 3 days after.
As the flea treatment won’t be effective enough too close to the dog grooming appointment.

Bi***es:
Any bi***es that are due to be in season when they have a dog grooming appointment. Please could you refrain from bringing them in and to reschedule the appointment.

Any bi***es that are in pup, it will be at your own risk if you would like your dog to proceed with the dog grooming appointment.
As part of my insurance policy, I’m not insured if anything happens any bi***es in pup
