Puppy ownership shouldn’t feel like chaos.

Yet most owners are drowning in conflicting information, overwhelm & anxiety trying to figure out what’s “right”.

The truth?

Most people don’t need MORE information.
They need STRUCTURE.
A clear routine.
A proven process.
And someone they trust to guide them.

That’s exactly what our Online Training Academy was built for.

We simplify everything.
We show you exactly what to do, when to do it & why it matters — so you can stop second guessing yourself and start building the dog you’ve always wanted.

Because great dogs aren’t created by luck.
They’re created through the right foundations.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth…

Your dog doesn’t need endless management. They need somebody who can create actual change.

Avoiding triggers. Crossing roads. Stuffing pockets with treats. Hoping they “grow out of it”…

How’s that working out?

I’m not interested in making behaviour look better for 5 minutes…

I’m interested in fixing the root cause and delivering real, lasting results.

Because in this industry…

Results matter.

Comment RESULTS if you’re done going round in circles. 👇

Most people are trying to fix jumping, biting, pulling, barking, zero recall, over-arousal…

…without ever building the foundations first.

That’s why they feel like they’re winging it.

Here’s exactly what I’d be doing:

✅ 1. Scatter feeding (minimum 1 meal a day)

Stop putting every meal in a bowl.

Searching for food is what dogs are BUILT to do.

It taps into natural instincts…It lowers stress…It builds food motivation…It encourages problem solving…

And the best part?

It’s one of the easiest ways to mentally tire your puppy out without “doing” loads.

Simple. Natural. Effective.

✅ 2. Tethered decompression / settling on a mat, bed or blanket

This is HUGE.

Because puppies don’t just magically learn how to switch off.

They have to learn it.

Tethering helps them:

• Work through frustration• Stop following you around 24/7• Learn independence• Process emotions• Decompress after activity• Settle before proper nap time

Instead of creating a puppy that needs constant entertainment…

You create one that can actually do… nothing.

And that’s a superpower.

✅ 3. 40-50 simple recall reps… ON LEAD… in a boring environment

Not in the park. Not around other dogs. Not where failure is almost guaranteed.

We build understanding BEFORE expectation.

Patio first…Then grass…Then slightly more distraction…

Because if your puppy can’t recall on the patio…

Why are you expecting it on grass where everything is 10x more exciting?

Recall isn’t something you “test.”

It’s something you BUILD.

And here’s the magic…

Do these consistently, every day…

And these behaviours start to COMPOUND.

Better food drive.Better emotional regulation.Better engagement.Better focus.Better recall.

Then…

We simply raise the distraction level… slightly.

That’s how you build an OFF LEAD dog.

Not by hoping.

By stacking wins.

Most puppy problems don’t start with aggression…
They start with too much freedom, too much stimulation, too little sleep.

If I had a 12-week-old puppy, this is the schedule I’d stick to for the next 4–5 months minimum… every single day.

Why? Because my priority wouldn’t be tricks.
It wouldn’t be social media moments.
It would be…

✅ SLEEP – Puppies need 18–20 hours a day. An overtired puppy makes bad decisions.
✅ MANAGEMENT – Crates, pens & structure stop them rehearsing unwanted behaviours.
✅ PREVENTION – It’s far easier to prevent bad habits than fix them later.

Chewing furniture.
Biting hands.
Demand barking.
Following you everywhere.
Stealing.
Jumping up.
Separation issues.
Poor switch-off.

None of that “just happens.”

It’s often a puppy being given freedom they haven’t earned yet.

Freedom is a privilege.
Boundaries create confidence.
Structure creates calm.
Sleep creates better behaviour.

Limit freedom now… so you can give them the ultimate freedom later. 🐾

The hardest truth for owners?

Resource guarding rarely “comes out of nowhere.”

It’s built… day by day… through tiny moments most people completely ignore.

Unlimited toys.
Unlimited chews.
Unlimited furniture access.
Unlimited attention.
Zero boundaries.

Then one day the growl comes…

And suddenly the dog gets blamed.

Behaviour doesn’t appear. It’s created.

What you allow… you teach

STOP wasting your time on things that don’t matter. Invest time in training your dog!

Most dogs that hate being grabbed by the collar weren’t born that way…
they were taught to.

Every time the collar meant something negative, the association got stronger.

Flip it.

Make it predictable. Make it positive. Make it DAILY.

It takes seconds…
but it can save you years of frustration.

Your dog shouldn’t just tolerate it—
they should welcome it.

44,000 dogs a year.
Not because they’re “bad”…
Because they were never shown how to be good.

Stop calling it a phase.
Stop ignoring it.
Stop hoping it fixes itself.

What you allow today…
Becomes the problem tomorrow.

This isn’t harsh.
It’s reality.
