One of our patients needed blood plasma as we can use this for eye ulcers however, she was too uncomfortable to have a blood sample due to having severe neck pain. (We take our blood samples from the jugular vein located in the neck). 💉 🩸

So our brilliant Vet dog, Denzel stepped in and gave his blood to help. 🦸 🐾

Denzel was super brave and let us take as much blood we needed for our poorly patient in kennels and was a true hero. ❤️‍🩹

It’s great when our Staff dogs can contribute to help your pets too when they can! 🥰🥰🥰

Meet Luna. 🐱

Luna came to see our Bishops Cleeve clinic after her lovely owner noticed she was gagging, swallowing and in discomfort. 😔

After coming to see one of our brilliant vets we thought that Luna may have something stuck in her throat!

After giving Lola some sedation for us to have a proper look we found a blade of grass in the back of her throat! 😦

Check the video to watch the team remove it successfully. 👏🏻

Luna is now feeling much more comfortable! 😮‍💨 Great job team! 🎉

Ali started her career at Barton Road as a Veterinary Nurse and has worked her way up to being Head Nurse to Clinical Nursing Manager. 👩🏻‍⚕️🩺

Ali is a fantastic team leader and cares for all your animals as if they were her own. We are so lucky to have her apart of our Folly Family. 💚

Meet our lovely receptionist, Sophie. 💚 👏🏻

Sophie has worked at Folly Gardens for two years, starting at our Cheltenham clinic and is now based at our Walton Cardiff Clinic. Sophie brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the team, especially as she is a hydrotherapist and massage therapist for dogs and is starting the process to become a physiotherapist, which we’re all so excited about!

Sophie is so knowledgeable, kind, and caring and is always the one to put your pet’s needs first. She is a fantastic asset to the Folly team! 👏🏻

Rachel from our Bishops Cleeve Clinic and Sharne from our Tewkesbury Clinic had to complete a course and do specific to make each clinic stress free for your Feline companions. 🐱

Hannah from our Tewkesbury Clinic and Zoe from our Bishops Cleeve clinic completed a Dogs Trust Dog Friendly course to ensure our clinic is up to standards and compliant with Dogs Trust regulations. 💛

This ensures all members of each team are here to create a stress- free visit while they stay with us. 💚
