Nice little wander around Westonbirt with 4 dogs today. There’s no day that goes by without training, even if it is a reactivity walk.

First retrieves aren’t always picture perfect 😂 This is exactly how it starts for a lot of dogs. Confidence first, consistency later. Rodney did a great first retrieve though and he’ll get there eventually!

What an awesome week with dogs. As soon as the sun came out I took the kids to play frisbee golf at . Group training saw a special guest in the form of . We headed up to the Lake District to test out the new cargo and spent the day with puppies in .

I’ve put together a 10-week structured course at Lechlade K9 Centre designed to build a reliable, confident working dog - whatever their age, breed or starting point.

We’ve got beginner, novice and puppy groups available, and there’s a FREE intro session on May 2nd so you can come and meet me, see the facility and ask any questions.

I look at every dog individually within the group - this isn’t a one-size-fits-all class. It’s about building a proper working partnership between you and your dog!

This is all I ever want from my working dogs. To be able to take them to a coffee shop and get on with some admin whilst they get patted by the waiting staff and not explode with excitement as a dog walks in.

Sunday school - Pub Club!
I only train for the real world and when you’re in the Cotswolds that means going to the pub.
Yesterday set up our own pub in anticipation of thewildduckewen opening soon.
When you see us with our dogs behaving, know we trained for it.

With post season blues and terrible weather it has been a week of rest.
We are resetting our basics with loose lead, off lead and steadiness as well as enjoying sofa cuddles to get through the paperwork.
