Today I had the pleasure of grooming Polly, the beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 🐶💗

Her parents usually groom her at home, so today was her very first salon experience. She was such a good girl considering! A little nervous and unsure at times, but I took everything nice and slow and gave her lots of fuss and reassurance along the way.

She was brilliant in the bath, but a bit more unsure on the table, so we just did what she was comfortable with today. Her owner and I agreed we’ll build things up gradually over her next visits to help grow her confidence 🫶

We finished off with a little playtime… and I can safely say that was her favourite part 😂🐾

Today I had the absolute pleasure of grooming Peggy the toy poodle 🐩✨
She was an absolute star from start to finish – calm, sweet, and full of personality 💕

Safe to say Peggy left feeling fresh, fluffy, and fabulous 💁‍♀️✂️

Yesterday I had the pleasure of grooming Chino the cocker spaniel 🐶✂️

His owner wanted him nice and short, so that’s exactly what we went for – leaving him looking fresh, tidy, and feeling much more comfortable 💛

Chino isn’t a big fan of having his paws touched, so I took things slowly and as gently as possible to keep him relaxed throughout. With a bit of patience, we got there in the end – such a good boy!

Yesterday I had Zeus, the beautiful bulldog, in for a bath and brush 🛁🐾

He wasn’t too sure about the dryer at first, but with a little patience and lots of reassurance, he soon settled down like a good boy 💙

Safe to say he left feeling fresh, clean, and just a little bit pampered – I think he secretly enjoyed his spa treatment! ✨

Handsome Harris 🐾

This gorgeous Sprocker Spaniel, Harris, came in for a groom today. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to get a before photo because he was just far too excited when he arrived… but let’s just say he had a lot more hair when he walked in! 😄✂️

Harris was such a good boy on the table and was an absolute pleasure to groom. He left looking much tidier and feeling much more comfortable.

His owner was really happy with his new hair do – and I think Harris was feeling pretty pleased with himself too! 🐶✨

🐾 Groom Number Two Today! 🐾

This lovely old boy is Tiger the West Highland Terrier. He came in for his groom today and, as he’s a senior gentleman, we took things nice and slowly so he could have plenty of breaks to rest his little legs. 💛

Tiger wasn’t too sure about having the hair trimmed around his face at first, but with a bit of patience, lots of gentle encouragement, and going at his pace, we got there in the end.

He did so well and looked very handsome after his tidy up! 🐶✂️

Working with older dogs is always about kindness, patience, and making sure they feel comfortable, and Tiger was an absolute sweetheart.

✨ My First Solo Groom! ✨

Today was a really special moment for me! I completed my first groom on my own since passing my dog grooming course! 🐾✂️

This handsome boy is Denzil the Border Terrier, and he was such a good boy for me. As you can see from the before and after photos, he had a lovely tidy up and is now looking very smart! 🐶

I’m so proud and excited to start this journey, and I’m very grateful to everyone supporting me while I build my confidence and experience.

Well done Denzil for being such a star today ⭐
