Sad Announcement 😔
As some of you are already aware I have been having alot of issues with my wrist/thumbs which has resulted in me having to cancel alot of my appointments which I really hate having to do and can only apologise for this.
I have had an appointment today which has confirmed I need an operation to release some tendons in my wrist so that I can use my thumb properly again. This is obviously going to come with some recovery time and put me out of action but I'm hoping this little blip will end 2 years worth of pain and discomfort. I am totally gutted that this has happened so early on in my career but I have exhausted all other avenues and have no other option.
What I do ask is if your fluffy ones need a groom please still contact me and if I am in a place to groom I will do my best to do so but please bear in mind I am still in pain and slower than I would normally be, or may not be able to do them at all but I will be honest about that because your dogs safety is always my top priority. I was told it could be up to 15weeks before I get an appointment so I'm hoping I will at least be able to still do some grooming in that time. I do understand that if I am unable to groom you will need to go elsewhere but I really hope I will see you again when I am back up and running.
This isn't something I ever wanted to write because I love my job and building a bond with all your lovely doggos and you as clients. I appreciate you trusting me to take care of your fur babies but rest assured cuddles, treats and chin wags will be in full swing when I am fully recovered.
