You may remember the roe fawns we introduced to you a few months ago... well they have been released🦌💕
Last month we opened the gate on their paddock for them to take their first steps back into the wild! Deer cope poorly with change so we offer a soft release in order to reduce any stress and allow them to leave at their own pace. This means we will continue to back-up feed them until they naturally stop returning. In the meantime we will continually put up camera traps, so we can monitor their movement and ensure their transition is smooth while reducing their contact with humans.
