Tucker, the border collie is a regular at Oakdene home dog boarding and keeps us entertained. He is the most ball obsessed dog who would play fetch all day long! He is very handsome and unusual with his heterochromia, one brown and one blue eye 🐾

Bailey the Cavapoo 🐾 has had a couple of stays with us now. He is the most chilled, sweet natured boy.
He loves cuddles, especially from Trooper. It's hard to tell which one is which when they are lying together!

Snickers the miniature dashund. A little dog with big dog energy. Snickers loved lying in the sun, could walk for miles and was a confident, self-assured dog with a sweet nature 🐾

Vinnie the Cockapoo 🐾 A lovely young dog, who was curious about everything and loved snuggles on the sofa. He enjoyed going for long walks and playing chase with our dog Trooper, but was way faster! 🐾

Introducing our brand new Outdoor Pool Doggy Splash Sessions here at Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido!🐾

On the back of successfully ran doggy splash sessions held at Hemel Leisure Centre's Lido each year, we have decided to trial out new outdoor pool sessions this September. That welcomes all pooches to enjoy doggy splash in our outdoor pool!🐶

Dates:
🛑Saturday 21st September 2024
🛑Sunday 22nd September 2024
🛑Saturday 28th September 2024
🛑Sunday 29th September 2024

1 hour session slots each day:
🔵10:00-11:00
🔵11:30-12:30
🔵13:00-14:00
🔵14:30-15:30

One dog and one owner can attend for £15, with additional humans costing £9 each.🐶🏊‍♀️

Customers will need to book in advance and can do so via the Everyone Active app or website, or by calling the centre on 01530 412181📱

All participants must fill out a participation waiver when they arrive for the session. A waiver will be provided before the session starts. See comments section below for FAQs regarding the session ⬇️

After the final session on Sunday 29th September 2024, the poolside area will be thoroughly disinfected and the pool will be filtered and cleaned as normal, following strict health and safety guidelines. The outdoor pool will then be closed for the season.

Double trouble, Dougie and Ramos the Frenchies! Beautiful dogs with big personalities. Loved lying in the sun, lots of cuddles and became firm friends with Trooper 🐾

Maisey the Cockapoo, or crazy Maisey as we nicknamed her!
She was a fluffy bundle of energy, and always up for an adventure.
She loved running around with the kids, long walks and getting wet, finding every puddle around! 😂
She was also affectionate and loved a snuggle 🐾

Turner the cockerpoopoo, really missed his mom at first. We think he grew to love us (and us him) as he began to trust us. He enjoyed his countryside walks, but was as happy on road walks, and was beautiful on lead. He is an affectionate, adorable boy 💙

Peaches and Fergus, the Irish Doodles, are the most beautiful looking and lovely natured dogs. Peaches was a proper princess with her long eyelashes and a love of snuggles. She could be anxious and sometimes hid behind us for protection, but was very sweet. Fergus on the other hand was a proper cheeky lad. Always making us laugh with his antics! Can't wait for their next visit 🐾

Oscar the lovely Lurcher 🐾 Oscar may be an old boy now, but still enjoyed long walks in the countryside. We loved that despite his size, he liked to curl up on your lap for cuddles 🥰 Oscar you were a gentleman and we look forward to your next visit 🐾

The youngest member of the Oakdene Boarding team Adelaide is now making homemade treats for sale. This weeks treats are Barking Breath Mint to make your furry friends Breath smell minty fresh.
