Dogs escalate, they don't go from ignoring other dogs to an unprovoked attack charging from a distance.

These dogs have 'history' and people are well aware they have a problem to sort. KEEP them on a bloody lead in public. Use secure fields for off lead time.

My dog has every right to expect a fear free walk.

Tuesday trailing club was Thursday this week! Despite the best attempts of the bell ringers! We got in some lovely trails. The usual suspects and a lovely Colie that did an intro recently. Fantastic time, especially proud of Brodie working along the p*e trail! (Long line of trees)

I think Bridie gets the award for Lab with the most beautiful manners. Kodi ignored the ducks and did a nice trail over mixed lenght grass. Biz made mum look amazing at a 5 path junction 🤣

Third and Final day of the Christoph Rosenberger Trailing Long Weekend some very contaminated hard surface that really taxed the teams. The heat kept up, everybody worked their weak areas. Some nice gains, for everyone and I think everyone came away with a plan and feeling they had really achieved.

Little Frankie did a lovely unseen out the car trail through some very contaminated woodland and parkland soft surface, meeting his first more complex scent pool problem which he worked through 💪 and found his reward.

Thanks to Christoph Rosenberger for a really informative weekend that explained the hows and whys for working trailing 'puzzles' going forward.

I certainly have brain bend, storing and sorting all I have learnt.

The second day of the Christoph Rosenberger Trailing Long Weekend has finish. A fantastic day trailing, trails to combat Visual Distractions, improve starts and work blown odor. Little Frankie is growing in leaps in experience and really enjoyed his trails today. Another amazing, eye opening day. Its at times like this you realise how much more you need to learn in this art.

Day one of Christoph Rosenberger Trailing Long Weekend completed, warm but manageable. Some nice trailing, assesing the problems and looking at solutions. Some fantastic chances talking all things dog. Some operational dogs, several SAR groups represented. A really nice mixture of dog types and styles.
