Reasons your dog ignores you...

I often hear the sentence "when we are on a walk they just don't listen to me"

My response is always the same - "Why should they listen to you?"
Now this isn't meant to trigger anyone it's meant to make you think...

Have I provided enough of a reason for my dog to want to pay attention to me?

If the answer to that question is no or you aren't sure it's likely you haven't worked on the things listed in this post.

- Are you actually interacting with your dog on walks and making it fun for them to engage with you?

- Have you put certain boundaries and structure in with your dog that they truly understand?

- Have you actually put enough work on or are you expecting too much from your dog when you actually haven't taught them enough?

If you are considering all of these areas it is way more likely that your dog will begin listening to you and wanting to engage with you when out and about!

Lovely client review from Shiloh's owners!

Shiloh is an awesome dog but equally a bit frustrated which has displayed itself through some reactivity

After working with these guys it was clear Shiloh needed an outlet to disperse some of that energy and frustration as well as putting some new boundaries in place!

Both Shiloh and her owners have done an amazing job and will be progressing into our group classes next!

More happy clients!

Reggie's owners had good foundations when I first saw them and obviously put time and effort in with him already, they just needed some help tidying some bits up and understanding Reggie a little better in order to really crack it with him

Fast forward a few months and they have been putting in the work and reading the reward by being able to get back to enjoying walks with Reggie and providing him with good outlets, further improving their relationship with him!

Really proud of these guys and big Reggie!
