Here's Horatio out with myself and his Dad today, showing amazing improvement. He has now got to the point where there is (dare I say it) no more "red zone" lunging. He's now respecting the lead and with very little correction can confidently be walked past other dogs in the park.
Great work Horatio and his lovely people ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปx

Here is the gorgeos Todd, he has come on leaps and bounds, he can now consistently walk loose lead, this short clip is us walking through St Pauls Cray, such a good boy.
He now needs to do the same with his family, which is also coming along very well.

Here's handsome River, he's been learning lead discipline, meaning the slightest input through the lead results in River looking for direction and following the lead.
He is a little superstar. Great job River.

This was done for the most part without treats, you can see the one I gave him, then showed him my empty hand and River continued to follow the lead, not the treat hand.

Here's the gorgeous Bruno, he's such a sweetie, though he does need air lifting from the end of his driveway, only a little way, I think he just loves the cuddles.

****An update for River****

Today was a tremendously successful one for River with dad Brian. River has only recently started getting time off lead in public as he's a large and lively boy and there were concerns regarding his jumping. His owners have done wonderfully and all the work is paying off.
River is still under a year old and his puppy traits pop up to entertain and sometimes challenge us.
I have a short clip of him playing fetch and recalling very well which I'll attach in the comments (hopefully).
Thanks for reading.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Pawsome progress ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

So as we know, Horatio had a few behaviours that didn't compliment working around horses. Over the past few months Horatio and his awesome people have come so very far.
Previously Horatio would lunge at the horses, even ones braying in other fields would trigger his chase behaviours.
We have worked very hard and have now achieved a calm balance Horatio around horses and also began walking on a long line next them. I am so proud to have been part of the team work which has got us this far.
We will be continuing to work with the horses as well as the dog reactivity, which is coming on very well.

*****Amazing Progress*****
Horatio has come on leaps and bounds with his dog reactivity.
Here he is walking with his person and the Lovely Seeka, thanks to Seeka's person for letting me borrow him, he was a star ๐ŸŒŸ
So to start the session Horatio exited his car and immediately ignored Seeka, we thought this was amazing and wondered if it would last the whole lesson, with fingers crossed ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ we began our walk.
The whole time Horratio acted like he'd known Seeka all his life. Even posing for a photo on the park bench. (In the comments).
What a great session, I'm looking forward to Horatio surprising me again. Great job Horatio (and his mum).

Here's Lonzo parallel walking nicely after covering the groundwork and with consistent training. Lonzo and his person have come on leaps and bounds (sometimes quite literally) from our beginnings just a few short months ago. He was reactive on sight (any distance) and very acrobatic on the lead. A Canny Colllar has been used with great effect and his owners confidence has been impressive.

I had this beautiful video and message from Horatios people, thank you.......

"Two months ago we didnโ€™t think weโ€™d ever have Snouty playing nicely with his friends off lead with all five horses standing outside their stables. Youโ€™re a genius! x"

Horatio aka "Snouty" was a very different dog just 2 short months ago, such amazing progress and dedication is really paying off. Keep up the great work and we'll have Horatio out whilst riding in the not so distant future โ˜บ๏ธ
