We are based in Acresford, Derbyshire in a secluded location (but in easy reach of the M42) with plenty of land to walk the dogs in.

Hey Guys,

Now our big announcement is out the way and the summer holidays are truly here we thought we’d give you an update on all the goings on here!

🐶𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐬 & 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲🐱

This year has been our busiest year so far to date with us getting to see so many of you! This includes lots of regular furry faces as well as some new ones too! With lots of you booked in for the rest of the summer and beyond! We’ve got to enjoy lots of fun, play and fuss and the expansion of our Cattery has meant we get to see many more of you!

🍃𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 🍃

If you visited us just after Christmas you’ll have seen unfortunately someone had an accident crashing in to our fencing in to our front fields - luckily no one was hurt but it left us with some work to do!

Thanks to the help of Shaun at Stuartson & Co Fencing we were able to get this repaired and looking better than ever! This led us to some other fencing needs Shaun helped us with.. We had some rotten posts that had caused the fencing in our field to fall, so we replaced the whole run with some fencing that should last us 20+ years! Our final repair was a damaged fence panel at the back of the Cattery which we replaced to keep us all nice and secure.

📆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 📆

We have already had so many of you pre-planning and booking in for next year with us being over a third full over some dates in August already! If you would like to book in with us we always recommend the earlier you guys can book in means the less likely we are to disappoint you with being full over the dates you need.

𝐀 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞 ✍️

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you that we’ve already seen this year and to those of you that we have booked in. We’re always overwhelmed by the love and support our small business receives from you all and the trust you guys give us to look after your loved ones for their holiday with us❤️

For those of you that are booked in to come to us if you could just remember to bring your pets vaccination card to show your dogs/cats are fully up to date with their vaccinations and that your dogs have had the kennel cough vaccine a minimum of 14 days before their stay with us, as we do need proof of this in order for them to stay.

🎉 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒊𝒈 𝑶𝒏𝒆!! 🎉

Hey Guys,

We’ve been a little quiet on social media this year and we’re now delighted to announce why👀

We’ve now officially completed the renovation of one of our old storage buildings in to a new Cattery block🐈 🐈‍⬛

After a lot of hard work this new block now doubles our capacity for cat boarding and we’ve had sign off from the licensing authority telling us this new block more than meets our already 5 Star Standard ⭐️

We may have… let the cat out the bag.. (ba dum tish🥁) to some of you who have tried to book in with us, in which we’ve added you to our cancellations/new block list.

We’ve now called people who were on this list back on a first come first serve basis and got you guys booked in where we can. If you haven’t heard from us you are still on our list for any cancellations.

We do still have some availability left over summer, though dates are limited now so if you need us please get in touch 🐱

We can’t wait to see you guys and show you what we’ve been working on!😊

Hey Everyone,

We’re very excited to announce that at the end of February Honor’s Happypaws will be joining us at Seale Pastures!

Honor comes to us with a wealth of experience of trimming up and giving the spa treatment to all different sizes and breed of pooch!

She even specialises in dogs that aren’t a fan of going to the groomer and will win them over so she can have them looking their best!

With her moving in it gives another service that your furry loved one can enjoy when they come for their holiday with us.

Honor is offering 𝟐𝟓% 𝐎𝐟𝐟 if you book your dog in for a groom with her while they’re holidaying with us.

Hey Everyone,

We wanted to come on and do one final post before Christmas as we close for a few days for the first time since taking over to celebrate a relatives 90th Birthday!🎄🎉

Firstly we need to announce the winner of this years charity vote! It was the tightest of margins across both our Facebook and Instagram pages as Wonky Pets Rescue just beat Guide Dogs UK.

The timing couldn’t be more fitting as we’ve just had our last pupdate from our sponsored puppy Moose who is now changing the life of his new owner Derek. We’ll now be reaching out to a more local charity in Wonky Pets Rescue to donate to them and help their animals in need - Please visit their page to see some of the great work they’re doing!

We just wanted to give a last 2024 thank you to all of you for the amazing support you’ve given us over the year, it’s been lovely to see you all and look after your furry loved ones and so many of you are already booked in for next year with us booking up quickly!

We also wanted to give a final thank you to you naughty lot that have treated us to Christmas presents this year🎅🏻

There is no better way for us to sign off than to look back at some photos of some of the recent guests we’ve had stay with these past couple of months. We have some exciting plans in the first few months of 2025 we can’t wait to share with you all.

Hey Everyone,

We hope you’ve all had a lovely start to Autumn!🍂

While the seasons might have changed it’s not stopped us from getting to see so many of you guys and your furry loved ones!

We wanted to start this post by looking back at some of the lovely guests we’ve had come to stay with us!🐕 🐈 📸

We then need to follow this up with a more important update (with a more serious tone than normal) as to changes as to how you book in with us and a bit of a reminder of what we need for bookings and why we’re doing it.

This month started as a bit of a nightmare for us, we had a customer who had booked six dogs across three kennels just not turn up for a two week booking, this mixed with a couple of short notice cancellations and dogs not having the vaccinations needed meant a fully booked October turned in to us being a third empty for the start of the month😩

While we understand life happens sometimes and plans have to change and while the 99% of you are amazing and let us know and we try to work with you we learnt a harsh lesson this month (especially with our calls to find out what was happening just being ignored), that we need to make some changes as it’s had such a massive impact on our small business.

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝒐 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 -

𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒔 - Going forward when you guys book in now we’ll ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit or £20 whichever is greater for all bookings over 2 days. This will be larger for multiple kennel bookings.

𝑽𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 - When you book in we’ll continue to remind you that we need your furry loved one to be fully up to date with their vaccinations, fleaing and worming and for your dogs to of had the kennel cough vaccine a minimum of 14 days before their stay with us.

If on arrival these aren’t up to date the full booking fee will be chargeable - Due to the short notice we’re not able to fit others in to cover the dates booked.

𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 - Any cancellations within 24 hours will be chargeable unless otherwise agreed.

What we haven’t been on top of this year is our cancellations list. With us already booking up quickly for 2025 (&With us being full over a couple of days in summer already), we’re going to open a cancellations book so if we can’t help with the dates you need we’ll write your details down in the order you’ve contacted us and if anything changes give you a call.

While the majority of you guys are amazing and we can’t wait to see you we hope you can understand why we’re having to make these changes❤️

None of this will alter any bookings you have already made with us but will take effect for any new bookings going forward.

With all of this being said we have so many of you booked in from now till the end of the month and we can’t wait to see you all and hear about what you’re getting up to😊

Hey Everyone!

As we go in to Autumn and wave goodbye to summer (the little summer that we had), we wanted to look back at some of the guests we had stay with us in August! 🐶🐱🐹

We had lots of regular faces come back to stay which meant we had a chance to catch up with you guys as well as lots of new faces we had the pleasure to meet😊

While our upgrades around the place have taken a pause (while only briefly..👀), that’s the only thing that’s stopped! We’ve enjoyed lots of fun, play and fuss with all of our lovely guests!

This autumn is going to be our busiest yet with so many of you guys booked in that we can’t wait to see!🍂

We’re taking more and more bookings for 2025! Please just note the earlier you guys know the dates you’re looking for to book in the better as there are a few dates now that we’re really limited on availability(July especially).

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you guys again for letting us be the ones to look after your furry loved ones (&Spoiling us with goodies too!), we can’t wait to see you all soon!

Hey Guys,

A bit of a summer update!

We hope you’re all having a lovely start to your summer! ☀️

The busy summer holiday period has well and truly started here where we’ve got to catch up with lots of regular faces as well as loads of new ones too!

We’ve had the pleasure of getting to look after so many of your furry loved ones already with so many more booked in throughout the summer and in to the rest of the year!

On the kennels side labradors seemed to be the flavour of the month this month where we think we had the most of one breed ever stay with us at once this month 🐕

Our Cattery remains the busiest it’s ever been this year where we’ve had some lovely guests who want nothing more than just fuss!🐱

Which brings us on to our next set of upgrades! We’re trying not to let the heat slow us down and keep on improving the experience that not only our furry guests get but you guys too!

The first upgrade is the one you guys are most likely to have seen which is our new sign by the entrance!

We then moved on to our existing Cattery which since we’ve moved in we’ve wanted to improve. The team at SAH developments came back and helped us insulate the rear wall while Paul has been busy sealing the block to stop a tiny leak we had by the front door.

What we’re currently calling ‘our grooming room’ building is now complete with hopefully some more exciting plans for this to come!

𝟐͟𝟎͟𝟐͟𝟓͟ ͟𝐁͟𝐨͟𝐨͟𝐤͟𝐢͟𝐧͟𝐠͟𝐬͟
We’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of bookings we’ve already taken for 2025! It’s just important to note the earlier you guys book in the more chance of us having availability. To give an example we are already over half full for some dates in summer next year, so once you know please get in touch with us if we can help.

Finally we just wanted to say thank you to you guys again, to the ones we have already seen this year and to those of you booked in. It’s our pleasure to look after your loved ones and we still get brought back goodies, so thank you!

𝐀͟ 𝐛͟𝐢͟𝐭͟ ͟𝐨͟𝐟͟ ͟𝐚͟𝐧͟ ͟𝐢͟𝐦͟𝐩͟𝐨͟𝐫͟𝐭͟𝐚͟𝐧͟𝐭͟ ͟𝐮͟𝐩͟𝐝͟𝐚͟𝐭͟𝐞͟:

As we try to continue to improve the experience we give to not only your furry loved ones but to you guys as well, our latest upgrade is in!

Thanks to the team at MAS-Security we now have a motorised gate, intercom and new security camera.

What this means is how you enter and exit Seale Pastures will now change. Instead of manually opening the gate, we will buzz you in and out with the gate automatically closing behind you.

What this new upgrade should bring is:

Ease of entrance and exit - instead of you guys having to get out to open the gate, back in to drive through, out to close the gate and repeat the process on the way out, you just have to get out once to let us know you’re here and we’ll do the rest.

Safety - You don’t have to keep leaving your running car to sort the gate and while we’re sure you keep your furry loved ones secure in your car it avoids having to keep opening the door while they’re in there.

Security - While our site was already fully CCTV’d up and we’re always here, this now means we know exactly when people come on to site and exactly when they’ve left. It’s an extra little layer!

We hope this makes joining us and leaving us a little easier! Please just remember to wait until the flashing light has stopped before driving through and to not block the sensors or the gate won’t open.

Please bear with us for the first week or two while we get used to it (some of us here are a little better with tech than others)! Any issues we’re always just a call away!

We have more exciting plans in the works that we’ll keep you updated on as they happen!
