Nick and I will be walking a marathon through the Surrey Hills on the 23rd April this year - to raise money for a great charity - Roundabout Dramatherapy.
I have been working for them, off and on for 10 years since qualifying as a Dramatherapist.
They do amazing work with people of all ages. Changing their lives through the medium of Dramatherapy!
If you can spare a bob or two to donate to this great cause Nick and I will do our best to not get too many blisters and complete the course.

As a vegan and someone who cares passionately for the planet and the welfare of animals - I am horrified at this latest building in China which really takes intensive farming to another level… Please just think about it for just one moment… if this was a facility for dogs - would you be happy for this to carry on? Pigs are highly intelligent animals, and like all other animals they thrive in their natural environment- not inside buildings in concrete where noise,smells are amplified and enrichment and the ability to display their natural behaviours is limited if possible at all.
This sort of farming is cruel and unnecessary- if you would not accept this for dogs - why do you for pigs? This is speciesism!!! Think about it!

Bear in mind that it’s not just the wealthy and glamorous wanting to be seen and to socialise with the ‘right people’ in their designer gear, who drive this vile industry. Every bet or ‘flutter’ (‘Just a pound each way’), every ‘office sweepstake’ (‘Go on – there’s just a couple of numbers left!’) on the latest race, no matter how harmless they seem, are ways that ordinary people everywhere endorse and approve the bloodbath and ensure that it will continue. There was a time that I was complicit. Be honest with yourself and search your own conscience.

And horse use is a global issue although to listen to the howls of outrage one would be forgiven for thinking only one country is involved. The horrors we inflict on this species are not confined to the ‘entertainment’ industry; they are ‘only’ a contributor to an overall obscenity. Did you know that globally, in a single year (2019), 5 million horses were slaughtered to be eaten?'

Just been to see Othello at the The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre performed by Frantic Assembly extraordinary performance by every member of the cast… just brilliant!!!
Shakespeare like you’ve never seen it before!!! A must see!!
