No this is not a new Netflix series.

Whilst it may look simple, keeping a reactive dog feeling calm and safe whilst watching others is a huge achievement.

So we provide space, we provide positive associations and we become The Watchers.

Nala has been told to leave her and so she is, because Nala is trained and knows what the word "leave" means.

Does your dog know the word leave?

Today I have come in from work and I have two very over-excited animals.

So I provide them both with a lick mat to help take the edge off.

Sometimes a simple calming solution can be used when the animals are over-excited.

Win for them and a win for me 🥰
