🚨HOLIDAY REMINDER & CHANGES🚨

Just a reminder of my holiday next week - w/c 8th June

I'm off all week and as such no walks/visits will take place.

I've also had to change my holiday dates booked for later this year.

Previously I had w/c 31st August booked off.

However I have cancelled this week and I will now be off the following week instead:

w/c 14th September

I will also be taking a day off on the 7th September

I won't be taking on any more house sitting bookings for that original week, however I do still have spaces for walks or drop in visits including over the bank holiday weekend 😎

It's not very often I post about personal stuff on here, but I wanted to share a bit about an exciting (and slightly bonkers) challenge I'm undertaking...

As some of you know I'm also a film-maker, and I have been quietly working on my next project in the background whilst running this business full-time.

As some of you may also know, you need funding to make films 😅

So I've decided to fundraise for the film by doing something a bit different...

I'm going to be running a mile for each day of the first 13 days of September this year, up to completing the Great North Run on 13th September.

So on the 1st September I will run 1 mile...

On the 2nd Sept - 2 miles...

On the 3rd Sept - 3 miles...

That means on the 12th I'll be running 12 miles. The day before running the 13.1 miles of the Great North Run on 13th September 😱

That's 91 miles in 13 days... and 46 miles in the last 4 days alone!

I think I've lost the plot 😂

But I'm determined to do it.

This project is very personal to me. It's inspired by my relationship with my own grandparents (that's my grandad and I in the photo). It's a relationship that's overlooked, especially in film and TV, but often a fundamental relationship for a lot of people growing up.

Sadly all of my grandparents have now passed away, so in their memory I will also be raising funds in conjunction with Age UK - the funds will be split 85/15%, with 85% to fund the production of the film and 15% to charity. With a minimum of at least £300 going to Age UK.
