Animals Asia North East UK support group We are raising awareness and funds to support Animals Asia's work in China and Vietnam.

North East Animals Asia volunteer support group is for supporters and volunteers, who engage in fundraising and awareness events which help end bear bile farming and animal cruelty in Asia.

No dog ever died from missing one walk🚨

If the pavement is too hot for your hand for five seconds, it's definitely too hot for paws. During the heatwave, stick to walks at dusk and dawn to avoid burnt paw pads and heatstroke, and if in doubt, don't go out.

Please share this vital reminder to help protect four (and three!)-legged friends in hot weather.

Thank you to the lovely volunteers who attended today's volunteer beach clean at Roker. Apologies it lasted just under an hour as, I had to get the juvenile Herring gull with a broken wing (found near the pier wall) over to our amazing local rescue Pawz for Thought
I did come back with a bonny, prickly lass who will be released in my garden later tonight. She's got a suite of apartments to choose from, in her safe new home 😄
Wildlife get hot and thirsty too. Please place a shallow dish of water out for them.
Thank you to all volunteers, please take your litter away, and help protect wildlife and environment 🙏🏾 ❤️
