Please sign to raise awareness and hopefully get the law changed! Pets are living things, not possessions!

They are not a car orTV set that has been damaged, so they should not be under the same legislation!

In my view if someone harms your dog they should be able to be given a conviction for ABH, or tried for murder just the same as a person!

We want legislation to: 1. Make a pet's welfare the paramount consideration when Courts resolve disputes over their ownership and possession. 2. Recognise a pet's true value as being the value to its owner, not just its open market price. 3. Require Court cases regarding pets to be expedited.
