Hello my name is Helen, owner and solo groomer at Purrfect Paws small animal grooming. Purrfect Paws was founded in 2009 after a love for all animals led me into the animal grooming industry. I have a huge passion for animal welfare, which is why welfare is always at the heart of my business ethos and services. I have 15yrs plus experience within the grooming industry, as well as many years exper
ience in pet care as both a pet owner and pet professional. I currently hold a higher national diploma in animal management to distinction level which included modules on:
Animal Health and Welfare
Animal Behaviour and Training
Animal Nutrition
Animal Ethics and Legislation
In addition, I have also completed a CPD certification in Feline/Canine health and first aid training, along side a CPD certificate in feline behaviour in the grooming environment. my aim at Purrfect Paws is to offer a welfare based, one to one grooming service which focuses on the individual needs your pet. This means using a non forceful approach to grooming methods, and adjusting each booked session to the individual requirements and telos of the animal I am working with. I will never force or inflict distress on any animal in order to achieve an aesthetically pleasing groom. However, I will work with your pet to ensure their grooming requirements are fulfilled without compromising their welfare.
