Scurries Dog Training Scurries Dog Training is all about positive, modern training methods, backed by the latest research, that will help your dogs to channel their natural desires.

This approach leads to a more controlled, obedient and relaxed pooch. Our gundog classes are aimed primarily at people with gundog breeds, and although any breed is welcome, an affinity for hunting and retrieving will be a great help. The gundog classes are not suitable for people who want to trial their dogs long term, but they are a good place to begin. Pet dog training in general can also be arranged on a one-to-one basis and behaviour consultations can be arranged when necessary.

A strong ‘sit stay’ is a vital element of any Gundogs basic skill set but learning and teaching it can be difficult!
It is one of the many things we look at in our Foundation Gundog course and how to keep that sit stay strong and our dogs happy and confident that we are all in this together!
