✷ SHINE ON ✷

I had the absolute pleasure of being part of latest exhibition 🩷 The Palette Project : PINK 🩷 last month, alongside some other super talented artists from the local area!

I always seem to be drawn to creating music related art and ‘Shine on you Crazy Diamond’ came to mind not only being an obvious ‘pink’ connection with the song being by the band Pink Floyd, but also has been a song that has resonated with me a lot this last year. A reminder to not let anyone dull your sparkle ✨

The lino printing technique I chose to do was something I’d really been wanting to try for a long time. I seem to collect a lot of lino prints from other artists, so used this exhibition as a push to have a go myself and I’m SO HAPPY by how it turned out after this first attempt at a new craft 🩷

Does anyone else look at illustrations they’ve made and still love them but feel like you’re style as developed? I’ve been dying to do this update for a while and finally had the motivation ready for a pop up shop next month!
