Hey, I'm Anna, the lady that owns the cosy cattery in her garden! Cat Naps Cattery is a petite (only 6 cat rooms) boarding service in the Stocksbridge area of Sheffield. I am also a Registered Veterinary nurse and dog trainer too. I have a huge passion for caring for animals and put my heart and soul into looking after each cat in my care. Another part of my job I LOVE connecting with you the cus

tomer and learning about your cats! I pride myself on being down-to-earth, friendly and kind, BUT also professional! It's massively important to me that Cat Naps has a homely/friendly vibe. As Cat Naps is a small-scale cattery, I am able to give my time on a one-to-one basis to your cat. I LOVE enrichment and have many toys, ideas and activities up my sleeve - so rest assured that your cat will not be left with nothing to do (unless that is what they want of course!)

I encourage you to bring their own food - minimising any upset tummies and any other homely items such as beds or blankets. I want this to be a home-from-home experience.

Hello, hello, hello 😃 as some of you know there has been a new addition to the Cat Naps family. His name is Bertie and he’s been helping all summer now. He’s actually coming up to 6 months old! I know they say it goes fast but Blumming heck, it really has! It’s been so, so busy with a full cattery, fitting baby stuff in, school hols and juggling other bits, but I’m still here and taking bookings for Christmas and January. Speak soon x

At the grand old age of 15.5 yrs old, poor POPPY the Staffy has sadly just had to spend months in council kennels as her mum was unwell 😞 heartbreakingly, she has had to signed over as it’s now not possible for her to go back home 💔

Poppy has clearly been very loved, which makes it all the sadder, and as you can imagine, the past few months in kennels has been very hard on Poppy and she had become very depressed 😞

Today, she became a HYPS girl ❤️ and it’s like she knew that things were going to get better … she started showing that amazing sassy Staffy personality to us - throwing herself on her back for a belly rub 🤗 nudging with her nose to keep stroking her 🥰 … and showing us exactly where the Schmackos were kept (just in case we’d forgotten) 😋😂

We’ve managed to arrange a temporary foster home for her for 1 week only (as 1 more night in kennels is 1 night too many for a girl of her age (not to mention that she absolutely HATES being behind kennel bars 😣)… ❤️ … BUT!!! we need to find a special retirement home for this very special little old lady who deserves treating like a total Princess every single day ❤️👑 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have 1 week to find her another longer term foster/permanent home - we HAVE to avoid Poppy spending any more nights in a kennel ⭐️⭐️⭐️

She'll be having a full MOT at the vets once she’s had chance to find her feet - we hate to ask again, but taking the oldies does usually come with higher vet bills, so any donations towards Poppy’s care would really be hugely appreciated - thank you 🙏❤️
