Lovely Ayaz the Ragdoll had a wet groom this morning 😺 he didn’t look like he was shedding much but I got soooo much fur from him!

😺CATURDAY!😺
This is Bella the British Shorthair who came for a full groom recently to help with her fur that had started to clump up. I brushed an exceptional amount out, Bella will be feeling amazing 😺

BSH cats have a much thicker coat than domestic shorthairs. As pedigree cats, they aren’t the best at grooming themselves, so need regular grooming to prevent matting, either at home or a professional grooming with us.
We’re more than happy to help with advice on brushing at home, or book them in for a full groom for a thorough brush out. We also offer shorter, more frequent maintenance sessions to keep on top of their fur, which means less shedding at home too!

What makes our grooms so perfect?

We book our appointments for longer to allow for flawless prep and styling.
Once the coat has been clipped to the desired length, it is then re-brushed against the growth and clipped again for that immaculate finish. You can (hopefully) see the difference in Amber’s body from the two photos below.
Their face, feet, legs and tail are then finished with scissor work, to leave a perfectly groomed dog, all ready to go and roll in the grass and mess it all up 😂

✨ Transformation Tuesday ✨

Featuring Lumi the Samoyed

Lumi is a newly rescued dog, who recently went for a groom elsewhere, which took 🕓35 MINUTES🕓

Her owner dropped her off and said “shall I come back in about 40 minutes then?”
I laughed and said see you in 2 hours.

Lumi had a THOROUGH scrub with deshedding shampoo, blast with the dryer, and brush out all of that loose fur and undercoat.
She also got her nails clipped and paw pads trimmed, standard with all of our grooms 💁🏼‍♀️

Good morning on this lovely sunny bank holiday! That we are working for some reason 😂

Please note that we are fully booked for both dogs and cats up until the last week in June. If your pet is due a groom around then, we strongly recommend getting in touch to book in as we will be unable to fit them in sooner. We highly recommend pre booking at pick up time, you can book the next few grooms or even up to the end of the year if you’d like.

We are also having a very high volume of enquiries, plus busy days grooming, so our response time is up to 5 working days. Apologies for this and thank you for your patience.

“Does my cat need shaving to keep her cool for summer?”

I am often asked this, especially with the weather finally getting warmer.
But the truth is, as long as your cat is well brushed through to remove matting and thick clumps, their coat acts as a protector against heat.
So as long as your cat has a healthy knot free coat, plus water and shade available, allow them to enjoy sunbathing in this heatwave, and we hope you enjoy the same 😜☀️

You may have seen the rosettes and medals in the window on the ornaments, I have no idea how to display them so if you have any ideas, let us know 😂💗

This was our first comp but it won’t be our last! Crufts here we come 😉 🐶

With the weather getting warmer I decided to leave a water bowl out on the front step for dogs passing that need a drink. Came back on Monday morning to THIS 😑
It’s one of two things and I don’t want to know which, either is disgusting to put in a dogs water bowl!!
So much for trying to do a nice thing :(
