The key to a perfect groom is perfect preparation! ⭐️

All of our dogs get 2 shampoo rinses. The first shampoo is a degreaser which removes the dirt & grease from the coat. The second is a coat specific shampoo which cleans and nourishes the fur and skin. This is followed by a thorough blow dry, ensuring the dog is completely dry from head to toe, then a brush through to remove any tangles from the coat. Wool/curly coated dogs are fluffed dried which leaves an even finish when styling! ✂️

😸 THE BIGGEST CATS IVE EVER GROOMED!! 😺

I was so happy this day, living my best cat groomer life 😂😂😁

This is Max (black) and Frank (silver) the Maine C***s who came recently for a lion trim. I didn’t manage to get an after photo of them but I will next time.

Their owner was over the moon with their grooms, here’s what she had to say 🥰

“I wanted to let you know that we took Frank to the vets today for a check up and to get his regular medication and the vet commented on how brilliant his coat was and how he hasn’t seen such a good job in a long time. He thought you had groomed under sedation/anaesthesia and couldn’t believe it when we said you had groomed him normally. We will definitely schedule in for all 4 of our Maine c***s to have their grooms with you for the future. “

Once upon a time, Stanley was a beautiful, regal, handsome lad and the most photogenic cat ever.
Now he’s rather derpy with his underbite, after having his upper canines (fangs) removed 😂 we still love him though 😸🥰

Hi! I’m Cat, and this is Jordan. Many of you know me already, and are getting to know Jordan too – here’s a little about us!

We met at 13 and became high school sweethearts but after school, life took us in different directions. I went to university to study Veterinary Nursing, and Jordan became a Financial Advisor. Years later, we reconnected, moved in together, and now share life with our sons Harry and Lucas, our bichon Pippin, and our cat Stanley 🐶🐱
I’ve always loved the grooming side of veterinary , especially transforming pets in need. I started with grooming Pippin at home, which sparked a passion. I launched a home salon, slowly stepped away from vet work, and by August 2024, I went full-time into grooming.

Soon after, the lovely owner of Poochey’s offered me the chance to take over her salon – and we jumped at it! We rebranded the salon to Cats Paws, and Jordan let the office work to join me as the dog bather and admin support. He has blown me away with how quickly he’s picked it all up, although I’ll take a bit of credit as his trainer 😉 It’s allowed us to spend more time together as a family and run the business as a team. You’ll soon get to know which one of us you’re speaking to via messages- Jordan is very formal with replies whereas I tend to be over friendly with lots of emojis and x’s 😂

We have loved welcoming so many new faces (both furry and human!) and we’re so grateful for the support you’ve shown our family business. It truly means the world to us 🐾

“You are brilliant at it it's impressive to watch you single handedly shave a cat 😅 she looks fantastic 😊”

I recently saw Thumbelina for a maintenance lion cut (previously was a lion cut for matting removal so this keeps the matts at bay!) and her owner is so happy with how she’s turned out, also impressed how I manage to hold and clip them on my own ;) look at her snoozing in her fabulous bed 😍🌸

Happy Caturday!
Meet Luna and Sephy who came for an express groom (brush and nail trim) recently. Look how much fur came out of them both! They’re only small cats too 🥹
Thats a lot less fur for their owner to have to hoover up 😉

Loki is letting me test it out on his mohawk and he looks fabulous 😜😜💚 and matches my brand colour ;)

Disclaimer: Opaws is a 100% non toxic, pet safe dye, the current product washes out in one shampoo wash. In time I will be getting longer lasting dyes that will last a few weeks. It’s in no way harmful or stressful to the pets and is purely for fun. 🙂
