Leanna's owner told us she would like to do some chain harrowing at home - a great way to keep her fit (the pony, not the owner!), so we did some 'furry tractor' practice before she went home.

Here she is working the chain harrows for the very first time, including dragging them through deep surface and across concrete - headphone users, watch out for the volume warning!

It's been a busy few weeks here at HDP now we've started our Experience Day and Lessons season!

Big thanks to everyone who was really understanding and. rescheduled their day this past week when we were hit by a heatwave and were only working the horses very early and late in the day to keep out of the heat. However, because of this, June dates are booking up fast! Availability is limited as we can only run a few a week, so get in touch to drive with us this summer!

You met Nelis a few weeks ago when he had just started his driving training here in the UK. Although he had been broken to drive in Holland, he was very frightened of all kinds of traffic.

All horses are individuals and learn at different paces, but after a lot of time and patience, he can now cope with most things smaller than a truck!

Watch to see how far he's come as he takes on Andover, accompanied by our trusty schoolmaster, Cloud.

You saw Leanna alongside Cloud a few weeks ago, finding traffic quite intimidating!

Well look at her now! She's taken a bit of time to get there - they all learn at their own pace, after all - but with patience and persistence, she's now ready to take on her new career as a driving pony safely, confidently and happily!

Work on your and your horse’s confidence, your rein handling, driving skills, cones, obstacles and more. Let us know what you’d like to focus on and we will tailor the lesson to suit any skill level.

Coping with Loose Horses with Tony the Pony!

Look who's back after his winter away getting fitter and concentrating on his riding work!

Tony the Pony (who is not a shetland, as many people got confused about last time he was our Friday Film Star) has been staying with us to brush up on his standing and speed manners, polish his traffic work and, importantly, prove he can stay calm and sensible around other horses - even loose ones! - so that he can be driven with his owner Safely, Confidently and Happily back home, whether that's in the middle of town or out in the New Forest with the ponies.
