Good evening,
I hope you are all well and enjoyed some of the lovely weather today.
I wanted to say thank you to everyone who follows me (even though I rarely post anything 😂), many of you know me from my previous job as a veterinary nurse, but for those who don't, I'll catch you up.
My name is Ciara, I have known from a young age that I wanted to work with animals, growing up with a variety of dogs, I knew I especially wanted to work with dogs!
After numerous jobs working with children and the hospitality business, I trained as a veterinary nurse. I have loved my nursing career and developing my dermatology skills as a referral nurse.
But after 12 years I needed a change and after numerous chats with Rockets groomer I decided to change my career into dog grooming.
I love my job and look forward to every day I work (though my back and shoulders don't). I am a very calm groomer, the dogs needs always come first, with breaks and play a regular part of the groom (you'll often find me on the floor playing or cuddling).
I don't use restraints unless I have to (rarely an excited spaniel will try and launch off the table).
After nearly a year of business I have loved seeing the dogs gradually trust me more and more.
