We had a very different client come in to us yesterday.
A beautiful Green Woodpecker 🤩
Little woody had been found in someone’s garden after a cat had got him. He was checked over by our vet then taken to southessexwildlife by a staff member for his recovery

Meet the gorgeous Willow, this week’s superstar at Dogwood Referrals! 💖

Willow had a rare condition called Pes Varus, causing her leg to bend inward, something we occasionally see in dachshunds 🐶.

Working with Fusion Implants, we used custom-made guides to plan and perform surgery that straightened her leg with precision.
She’s now healing brilliantly and already back to her cheeky self! 💪💕

🐾✨ REUNITED AFTER 3 WEEKS! ✨🐾

Meet Eris, the adventurous kitty who went missing from her home in Wales… and somehow ended up over 200 miles away in Essex! 😱 After three long, stressful weeks, Eris has finally been reunited with her incredibly relieved human.

This heartwarming reunion was only possible because Eris was microchipped. 💖 Thanks to her chip, a quick scan at the vets led straight back to her family.

Alfie’s family have been amazing in supporting Alfie with his medical needs.

Flystrike is a serious and potentially fatal condition in rabbits. Flies lay eggs on soiled fur, and in just hours, maggots can cause severe damage.

Grass seeds are nasty little things that can work their way into ears and skin.
The best thing to do after a walk is check your pets fur, paws and ears. You may catch the seed before it travels into the skin. 🐾
