Lola and Dafney came in for a groom last week. Both were really good for their grooms which helped me as I was very tired after a sleepless night with one of my dogs being poorly (he's all better now)
Both of these girls have a full groom.

Pedro-full groom
Nori- another intro session to build her confidence. She was calmer this time and let me use two hands on her body and clean her ears!

Jessie- wash deshed and shaping
Buddy- full groom
Prince- clip and tidy
Nathan- wash deshed and shaping.

They were all lovely dogs.

I'm so proud that my certificate from my dog grooming course has arrived and is now hung in my salon.
I want to say a huge thank you to South Coast Dog Grooming Academy for all their teaching and support whilst i retrained. And a big Thank you to all my lovely clients and their dogs who are helping me to live my dream of being a dog groomer.
The saying is definetly true that when you do a job you love it doesn't feel like work and I love every minute of my job.

I look forward to seeing all my existing clients again and welcoming many more new ones to the salon.

Monty, Bonnie, Max, Winnie 4 newbies to my salon last week.

Monty came in for a intro handstripping session. His coat isn't quite ready to strip yet so will have to wait a bit longer but he had a tidy up and session to get used to my salon.

Bonnie and Max came in for a full groom and start to teeth cleaning.

Winnie had a deshed and tidy up.

Rosie and Raya's came in for a handstrip.
You can see from the photos before and afters of Raya's legs and body for her handstrip.
Unfortunately Rosies coat got clipped once after a misunderstanding at a previous groomer and her owners want to see if it can be saved. We've done one session and she is going to come back in for another. Although it may never be the same as rayas again we are hoping to make it less fluffy.

Preston and Bear came in for a deshed and outline trim to neaten and shape their coats. Both were very good.

Lovely Nori is a very nervous little girl who has just started visiting me at the salon. She come every couple of weeks for a visit. We play some games and have a little brush while she is using a lickimat. Building her confidence in being touched and handled by strangers before I can do a proper groom on her.
