Not the post I want to be writing today but on my 2nd group walk at 11.30 little Albie (black and tan) bolted after being spooked by another dog in Hut Wood, Chandlers Ford. He ran in the direction of where the van was parked but got spooked again by running towards another dog walker and took off into the woods and hasn't been seen since. We stayed out until nearly 7 but without any daylight its been virtually impossible to search despite everyone's best efforts.
As a dog walker, this really is one of the worst things that can happen 😔. I'd like to say a huge thank you for clients coming to collect their dogs who were in this group and the flexibility from later walks that I cancelled so I could stay searching for as long as possible 🙏🏻. I was able to get away for a little while once Albies owners arrived so got round to the last few dogs of the day who still needed me!
The search will continue tomorrow!
