π€― Morning Mayhem on the South Oxford Canal! π€―
We had a bit of a shock this morning at Tabbys Cat Sitting!
Poor Rupert was spooked by two French Bulldogs and quickly sought refuge back on the boat.
Unfortunately, the drama didn't end there. One of the Frenchies ended up falling into the canal!
With the owner absent, Tabby had to act fast, pulling the sinking dog out of the water just in the nick of time.
It was a scary reminder that French Bulldogs are not built for swimming and can be in serious danger near water.
A towel wasn't immediately available, so our quick-thinking Tabby resorted to her dressing gown to warm the poor, shivering pup until the owner finally arrived.
Let's just say Tabby was a little chilly and sporting impressive bed hair! π
Please, everyone, be incredibly careful when your pets are near canals, rivers, or any open water.
Keep them on leads and within sight.
Despite the morning's events, life on the boat has returned to normal (well, as normal as it gets with Rupert and Emma!).
They're back to their window hammock observations.
If you need a vigilant cat sitter in Southam or Daventry areas who's prepared for anything, you know who to call! π
