Graded in 2011 with the IDHS Elvis is a fully approved Class1 RID stallion . He sailed through the inspection and scored highly in all aspects of his conformation and
movement. One of the inspectors commented ` he is a superb example of the breed, being very strong in areas where many of todays draughts are weak - he will be very
good for the breed`
Elvis is lovely example of the Irish Draught
breed, this good looking young stallion has it all, excellant conformation, good bone and wonderful movement - being straight,
athletic and light on his feet. His temperament is second to none, with a kind, friendly disposition he is a joy to handle. He descends from some of Irelands finest bloodlines with a particulary strong mare line. His dam Carrickrock Midnight Dancer was a champion show mare, his grand dam
Millhollow Starlet and his his great grand dam, Roma Blue Wind were both Supreme Champion RID Mares at the Royal Dublin Show in Ireland. His sire Pride of Meath has sired many showjumpers, eventers, dressage and show horses and is by the legendary Pride of Shaunlara. Other performance bloodlines
include Crosstown Dancer, a grade A show jumper by Flagmount Diamond (King of Diamonds)
Elvis is carrying on the family tradition and has had a very successful inhand show career to date, he himself is a county show champion, he has also showed a great
aptitude for jumping whilst being prepared for his gradings and was loose schooling 1m 20 with ease. His first crop of purebred foals have been very successful in the
showring including a win at the Great Yorkshire show and winning the overall foal championship at the IDHS (GB) National Breed Show. His foals are very correct, straight
moving with great limbs and beautiful heads.
