CLOSED FROM THURSDAY.....cheers.
I’m extremely bitter about the entire thing so the less said about it the better, there’s already enough s**t on the internet to read to wind you up.
I hope you’re all handling the news well, and if you need any advice on how to keep on track when your resources are stripped away don’t hesitate to message me.

Cut straight to it. Over the next month you’re going to have to do what you can, with what you have, to the best of your ability.
It is not another month to hide behind excuses.
Why should the possibility to make progress with your physical well-being be taken away along with your access to the gyms.
Do not let an outside influence dictate whether you can make strides towards your goals. Sn**ch back control.
What’s done is done. Now spin it in your favour.
That doesn’t make you weak for conforming, it makes you strong that in spite of the fact the government has tied your hands behind you back, you are still slogging away.

JUST BOOK IT.
Stop watching whichever trainer you like following, whichever group session you normally go to or like the look of. JUST BOOK IT. BOOK THEM.
No doubt you have got your goal in mind, you know what you want and you know getting the training in, is going to get you there.
Now here’s the thing, if you rely solely on your GOAL as a target and motivation you’ll be doing two things that WILL GO AGAINST YOU.
1) Delaying happiness; if you won’t allow yourself to be satisfied or happy until that very day THE GOAL IS REACHED you essentially are denying yourself the chance to pat yourself on the back every workout you slog away at along the way, because you’re “not there yet”.
2) A goal will motivate you for a short while, and for that short while you’ll probably make some great headway, but without a system in place it is inevitably doomed to fail.; A sustainable system that you are happy with, that is the trajectory, the path to your goal, is the absolute key to everything.
TRAJECTORY, DIRECTION, PATH, JOURNEY, WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT, SHOULD RANK HIGHEST ON YOUR PRIORITY LIST.
Here’s an example action plan:
(i) Get a Goal
(ii) Seek professional advice on how to achieve it within a proportionate timeframe.
(iii) Have blind faith and trust that process.
(iv) Start
(v) Stick to it
(vi) EVERY SINGLE moment of EVERY DAY that you are ON the path advised, every workout you walk into that is ALIGNED with the advice, that is ON the path, congratulate yourself, BE HAPPY you made it, YOU’RE ON the right track.
Repeat the above point ad infinitum safe in the knowledge you’re going to float to your goal on a wave of positive energy.
(vii) Hit Goal, Smash Through It. Tweak It, Go Again.
SPOILER: There is no “when i can do this, I’ll be happy.” , “when I am 2 stone lighter, it’ll be better” , “when i can bench 100kg, I can relax” - there’s always more, and the arrival at a target is sometimes underwhelming - SO G YOURSELF UP EVERY. SINGLE. TIME You make an action at all that places your feet firmly within the confines of the right path.

Small group sessions at .t.p.t .....a great way to work out.
Keeping each other motivated, pushing each other to new levels, competing with each other....it all makes for a very positive experience.
I’m back and these open small groups will be available for you to join in for the forseeable future at ETPT. So get back to your routine and book in with your friends. 2020 only has to be a write off if you make it so.
LOCKDOWN IS NOT AN EXCUSE NOT TO LOOK AFTER YOUR HEALTH. IT’S A REMINDER TO.
