Tiring work today for Luna... The chores of babysitting her sibs. Typical rolly Polly spaghetti legged baby Frankie Vs fragile little Luna... Her method? Lay down and watch from a distance 😉😂 (although it does involve the occasional sudden nose in her ear when Fran decides to spaghetti-leg ooze her way over to her and chirp loudly at her for kisses!)
Luna still loves to sit and watch the garden birds - although it still brings floods of memories of her and willow from years gone by. Can't believe it's been 7 months 💔😔

Can anyone help with raising funds for Holly's Merry Moggies cat shelter Nottingham? Even a few essential supplies from their wish list would help them TONS. Sooo many kittens and adult cats are being helped by Holly and it's literally a matter of life or death. My heart is breaking seeing so many needy cats - especially after our two losses. Help if you can. Please.

We're still being deluged with kittens and pregnant mums, and have just taken in four 4-week-old kittens from Wales who were about to be put to sleep.

They were found in a hedge and handed to a vet, but because they have ringworm (an infectious skin condition), no one would take them, so they had less than a day left to live.

They arrived last night and I'm going to need lots of supplies (mainly for bleaching everything daily so the other mogs don't get it) to keep them alive and get them well. Since they don't have a mum, I'm hand-rearing, which takes up tonnes of time and means I won't be able to do much writing work this month to pay the bills.

If you can help at all or share the fundraiser, it would really help with saying yes to literally life-saving requests like this. Thank you ♥️

It's been a tough ol' year to get through (same for many others, I know. Not saying we're alone in the struggles) but we've been plodding through. Thanks to those who've shown support and likewise those who's online orders we've received this year. It really does help keep us afloat.
I can't quite believe it's already been a year since our beloved Alby left us :(, I try not to talk about this kind of thing anymore but if you know, you know. Pain. Sorrow. It's always there.
Had a few problems with Willow this past few months - she goes through rough phases of not wanting to eat, then requesting handfeeding only [palm of our hand, or one bit at a time]. Then wolfing down anything in eyesight. then normality. then back to not eating again. She seems to get very nervous of any kind of noise at all now so it takes lots of time and patience and love to calm her nerves.
Fox has been mostly okay although she has been in a depression since losing Alby (they all have) and has taken to sinking into our arms and murmuring while clutching at us.
Pearly too is being a bit hit and miss on eating and interaction but is sort of at a balance point. Ben hasn't been the same since losing his brother but has recently come out of his house more and more to have hugs and watch tv. He gets scared very easily now and likes to hide lots and does these odd "safety checks" around the room before he'll settle.
That just leaves our little miss moony (Luna). She's been very much a different girl since Alby passed away last year. She is very clingy and eats like a horse [yet is somehow STILL the size of a Kitten :) ] but then spends hours on end in her house slumped in her fluffy bed staring out the window as if waiting.... only coming out when we're having hug time or if she spots pigeons outside on the roof of the cabins etc... (she thinks they're bringing greetings from Alby to her and chirps and purrs and whirrs sing-songily to them, moreso if a Robin is spotted!)... one day she missed seeing one as it flew away while she was in the litterbox and howled in despair until the next day 3 came and she purred up a storm and beamed so happily it made my chest hurt!
We've started attending fundraising events again as funds are tight but sadly missed a good chunk of the ones we'd booked into this summer for one reason or another (not JUST our fault - weather, host error, venue issues, car problems etc) but it would be amazing if anyone local to our events listed on the FurwebsMarket page could pop by and spend a few pence/pounds and say hello... We miss seeing everyone! :)

Hello everyone, Sorry I don't seem to be using this page very much anymore. We are still busy caring for the cats, fundraising and selling goods to provide care for them.. but we've not really had the heart to be "public facing" very much since losing our beloved Alby. I do hope you're all doing well and we thank each and every one of your for your support and donations though xx Here's to a lovely year ahead :)

Feeling rather low. Wasn't going to post anything but... I did so .. bleh.
Unbelievably FIVE years ago today we buried our beautiful Beany.. It was the start of the end of everything ... we didn't know that then - we just felt crushed beyond measure, especially me (not saying John wasn't affected, but he knows how it hit me differently with Beany)...
We could never have imagined what was to come in those following months but... my heart aches for you my baby boy... special sweet one :( - "Two hands, Two hands..."
Love you forever and always
