Handsome Hunter took a moment out of his busy daycare day to pose amongst the beautiful roses at Daycare. ❤️

With a smile like that, it’s safe to say he was having a wonderful time! From making friends and exploring to enjoying plenty of play and attention and of course some well deserved treats….Hunter certainly knows how to make the most of his day 🐾🐶🐾

We love capturing these little moments that show just how relaxed, happy, and confident our daycare dogs are while they’re with us. 🐶

After all, daycare isn’t just about supervision – it’s about fun, friendship, enrichment, and giving dogs a place where they genuinely enjoy spending their day.

🏏 Supporting Local Cricket, Supporting Our Community 🏏

At Shropshire Doggy Daycare & Homeboarding, we’re proud to be sponsoring Shifnal Cricket Club and supporting a fantastic local club that plays such an important role in our community.

Local sports clubs bring people together, create opportunities for all ages, and help build the strong community spirit that makes places like Shifnal so special. We’re delighted to be able to play a small part in helping that continue.

As a local family-run business, we believe in supporting the people, organisations and communities that support us. Whether it’s on the cricket field, at local events, or through the relationships we build with our customers and their dogs every day, being part of the community is something we’re incredibly proud of.

🌿 Nature isn’t just beautiful… it’s enriching. 🐾

At Shropshire Doggy Daycare & Homeboarding, our dogs don’t spend their days surrounded by concrete and artificial environments — they explore grass beneath their paws, wildflowers, natural scents, open space and fresh countryside air and have freedom galore 🐾🐶🐾❤️

From buttercup-filled play fields to shaded woodland edges, every part of our setting gives dogs the chance to do what dogs were naturally designed to do:
🌼 sniff
🌼 explore
🌼 decompress
🌼 socialise
🌼 play freely

Mental stimulation doesn’t only come from toys and activities — nature itself is one of the most enriching environments a dog can experience.

And honestly… on days like this, it’s pretty special for humans too. ☀️🐕

🐾 TRAMPOLINE TIME = CONFIDENCE BUILDING TIME 🐾

Yesterday was apparently less about the dogs learning to use the trampoline… and more about the dogs teaching Esmée how it’s actually done 😂🐶

It’s so Nice to see everyone so confident 🐾🐶🐾
Although we are pretty sure that some just wanted the treats 🤣… Mainly Esmée 🤣
And at least one dog believed they were training for the Doggy Olympics 🏅

Using different surfaces, gentle movement and reward-based interaction helps dogs build confidence, coordination and focus — all while having lots of fun with their friends ❤️

Rain or shine, the fun, the play and good times never stop and we are always thinking up new things to do and introduce to keep it engaging and different for all 🥰

Not every dog wants the same daycare day… and that’s exactly the point 🐾

Some spend the afternoon charging around with giant balls and bubbles…
Some become professional hoop thieves…
Some bounce on trampolines with their mates…
And some are happiest simply pottering, sniffing and finding a quiet spot to relax ☀️

That’s what we love about proper daycare enrichment — giving dogs the freedom to enjoy the day in THEIR own way.

Different personalities. Different play styles. Different energy levels.
One safe, structured environment built around letting dogs be dogs ❤️

Days like this are why we do what we do.
