🌟🐎🌟Senior Equine Administrator at Kingston Equine Vets🌟🐎🌟

Veterinary Administrator/Receptionist - an exciting opportunity to join the team at Kingston Equine Vets, Buckhorn Weston, Gillingham, Dorset. This is a permanent position to start ASAP, both full-time (8.30am-5pm) or part-time considered.
Daily tasks include: general reception duties including answering the telephone, booking appointments, organising the diary, marketing, dealing with insurance, ordering of medication, preparation of laboratory samples, greeting clients and dealing with client requests. Attention to detail, good customer service and confident telephone skills are required. Prior experience with horses or equine business preferred. Possibility of developing the role further in the future, equine veterinary technician or nurse training.
Holiday plus bank holiday.
Salary negotiable.

Our popular Second Hand Tack Sale is being held on Saturday 5th July from 11-2pm at Glenda Spooner Farm in the indoor arena.
👉Sellers fee is £5 per pitch and payable on the day. Set up from 10am
👉Buyers £2 on the door from 11am
If possible, please do have the correct amount ready. Cash only in the arena

🔶Extra Information for the day 🔶
▪️No need to book a place but please bring your own table and/or tarpaulin as cars are not permitted in the arena.
▪️Do bring along a trolley to help transport your goods from the car park as there will be strictly no parking in front of the arena
▪️Our own second hand tack shop will also be open along with the cafe, visitor centre and farm walks from 11-4pm.
▪️Sellers, we politely ask that everything is taken away with you when you leave

Our vet, Hayley, was the equine vet on duty for sherbornecastlecountryfair today, along with her usual canine sidekicks, Elsie and Thelma. Despite the slightly inclement weather, it was another fabulous event with lots of beautifully turned out heavy horses, native ponies and miniature shetlands just to name a few!

Equine Breeding Client Evening at Kingston Equine Vets - The Foaling Mare

Join us for an informal gathering at our Shave Hill Premises on the 24th April, with a talk by Milly Lawrence one of our vets regarding how to prepare for the foaling mare; focusing on the run up to foaling, stages of foaling and immediate post partum care. Open to everyone, whether you’re simply interested in breeding and want to learn more, or have mares to foal and want a refresher!
