This week we had a beautiful retirement livery join us at The Healing Yard. She is settling well and the rest of the herd have welcomed her.
I am pleased to say we are now full. X

The horses -mares only- are on Summer routine-out at night and in during the day for a snooze. In Winter we turn them around. Paddocks can be seen from my house and I have a camera on the yard.
It is a small yard with my 6 healing horses and up to three liveries. The livery suits horses who love routine, have shade from the flies and have been used to being your Princess.

A beautiful start to the day here on The Healing Yard. The girls will be coming in for breakfast and a snooze. Then I will be tiptoeing around the yard so they are not disturbed! We also have a visit from one of our lovely owners coming to see their girl. It is so important for the horses to still see their guardians. Then the emotions do not get confused, they have not been left or feel abandoned. Auntie Elaine cares for them and they still see their person for grooms and cuddles.
