This very special girl is Flossie. She is a retired guide dog and is an absolute angel. She is 12 but has the energy of a young lady still. She loves a treat and was so good she was let off the lead on our first walk of many 🐾💙

Nearly £4,300 raised in one month! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Fundraising February raised an amazing £4,254.60 for the animals at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.

A very special shout-out goes to Mia Walker from Leash and Peace, who generously donated all of the earnings from her dog walking business for the month, raising an incredible £1,294.60 for the animals in our care.

From attending events and making donations, to organising fundraisers and sharing our posts — every bit of support helped make this possible.

From all of us at Thornberry (and plenty of grateful paws and wagging tails) thank you for helping us make a difference.

💙One year of Leash & Peace 💙

This past year has honestly changed my life and I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on how lucky I am to do what I do every day. What started as a small idea has grown into something I’m so proud of and that’s completely because of the incredible people and pups who have supported me along the way.

To every owner who has trusted me with your dogs — thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I know how much they mean to you and being trusted with something so important is never something I will take for granted. Your support and kindness has meant more to me than I could ever say in words.

And to the pups who I love like my own… you have no idea how much you’ve given me this year. The wagging tails, the excited greetings, the muddy walks, the chaos and sloppy kisses. You’ve filled my days with so much joy. You’re the reason my days don’t feel like work. You’re the reason I come home happy knowing I’ve spent my time doing something that truly matters to me.

Leash & Peace isn’t just a business to me. It’s something I’ve poured my heart into. And I’m so grateful that you’ve all been part of this journey with me.

Thank you for supporting me, trusting me and being part of this first year. I can’t wait for many more adventures together 💙
