☀️ Heat Stroke ☀️

Heat stroke can be life threatening for dogs, which is why we take it so seriously in the salon.

Any dog who has been walked to the salon in the hot weather, or is showing signs of heat stroke upon arrival will be refused and rebooked.

Even though the salon is fully air conditioned things like stress, health conditions, overweight dogs, double coated breeds, elderly dogs, puppies and brachycephalic breeds (flat nose) are the most susceptible to heat stroke. It can build up slowly and dogs can go down hill very quickly.

In the hot weather please allow your dogs access to cool water at all times and only walk them if necessary early mornings and later on at night.
Keep them out of the sun as much as possible in a nice shaded area.

when travelling to the salon please make sure it is in an air conditioned vehicle.

If you need to rebook your appointment due to the weather please let us know as soon as you're able to and your deposit will be carried over.
* Any appointments not attended without prior notice will result in a deposit being lost.
