ALL RESCUES, just like us are currently full to over flowing.
We are operating a waiting list, where we are having to prioritise the most vulnerable feral cats and kittens. We are NOT a domestic rehoming center.
Due to the outbreaks of panleucopeania in the area we are having to be very careful with what we bring in. This is a horrendous disease and works like Covid-you don’t know who has it til it hits and it is often fatal to kittens under 6 months and some adult cats. In the event of a positive case We then have to Lockdown that Fosterer for 4 weeks to all new intakes and rehoming.
All our Fosterers bring cats in to their own homes or catteries so we have to be very careful what we bring in, for the safety of them and their families and their own cats.
There is no point messaging or calling being rude / demanding we take in immediately/ or throwing your teddies out of the pram as we are doing our best to help what we can.
We don’t like operating like this as in an ideal world we would help all cats and kittens that required help. We are receiving a high number of requests from people who are abusive, impatient, and demanding.
‼️This is not a situation we created, abuse of Fosterers will not be tolerated‼️- Just because you have been waiting ‘x’ amount of weeks. We are all volunteers and work full time jobs too.
We are trying to help ! We are just as frustrated as you.

A while ago a small kitten was found in a garden and taken to a vets who contacted us to take him in. Shortly afterwards a neighbour close by found a mum and four kittens in their garden. And contacted us for help. They have waited patiently until we had a space and brought in three Spicey kittens (having decided to keep the mum and one of the kittens). Mum is being booked in for neutering this week as the family really don’t want any more new residents in their garden.

This lovely girl girl was a stray and turned up in a garden to have her kittens. The finders -fed her and came to us for help when one of the kittens escaped and was ran over on the road. Now safely in our care and named Callie & Chester.

Beautiful cat found on a busy road Hinckley area, and followed someone home. Sadly she is chipped but the chip is not registered-so about as much use as a chocolate teapot!
If anyone has any idea who owns this beautiful girl please message asap

And there’s more 😳……..
On Thursday we had a call from a lady who had discovered a cat and tiny kittens in her garden. Of course being full we were a little bit limited with how to help……as the finder’s family were severely allergic.
Luckily someone who had previously helped stepped in and agreed to foster 🎉🎉So we gladly arranged to collect mum and kittens.
They are now all settled in, and doing well😻

It appears we have reached ‘silly’ season where people who don’t want their kittens /are now bored of them/ are starting to dump them. One was found in a road in Nuneaton one in a road in Leicester following a car -probably its owners😫🤬😫. Doors were knocked in both areas yet nobody knew anything about either kitten. Both are around 12 weeks old. Sadly a lot of rescues are full as it’s busy kitten season - some are always full when it comes to black and black and white kittens😿.
We have many black and white kittens waiting for their forever homes, some have been waiting patiently for months and not had a single enquiry.
Never mind babies we will make room for you, even if we are full.
