The petition has now closed! Over 189k of you spoke up and told the Government you want change for cats. Behind every signature is a voice, a voice speaking out against the unnecessary suffering so many cats have to endure because they have been left behind by the law. Many who signed will have had cats that paid the ultimate price because of the lack of legislation in place. This has been the largest campaign of it's kind thanks to all of you! The army of cat people standing with us would comfortably pack Wembley stadium to it's absolute limit twice over, and even then leaving just enough people left over to fill about a tenth of a third stadium - an army bigger than the British army itself! You haven't just spoken out to be part of the biggest petition of it's kind, you're now officially part of the biggest cat welfare petition in UK history - the largest to ever be debated in Parliament! A HUGE thank you to each and everyone of you that signed the petition, as well as massive thanks to our volunteers that went above and beyond for this campaign, supportive MPs, and the people creating videos and pictures to help promote the petition, some on behalf of their loved ones they want to see justice for. Not forgetting the media - who are almost always kind and supportive toward us, apart from the odd one or two! We could not give out our thanks without giving the biggest thanks to our amazing celebrity cat friends and their wonderful humans behind them that used their platforms to take this petition to heights we wouldn't of dared dream of when this petition was published! THANK YOU EVERYONE! We think they hear us now! 😸
