Walking on a loose leash is a team effort. The golden rule is: a loose leash is the "green light" to move forward, while a tight leash means an immediate stop.Core Training TipsThe "Tree" Method: The moment you feel tension, stop moving. Don't pull backโ€”just wait. Once your dog looks back or steps toward you to loosen the leash, reward them and continue walking.Reward the "Check-in": Carry high-value treats and reward your dog whenever they look at you or choose to walk by your side without being asked.Direction Changes: If your dog is ignoring you, unexpectedly turn 180 degrees and walk the other way. This teaches them to pay attention to where you are going, not the other way around.Burn Energy First: A high-energy dog will find it impossible to walk slowly. Play a game of fetch or do some sniffing exercises before starting the formal "loose leash" training

And what kind of treats do you bet on? Because we try on these natural animals ๐ŸฆŒ๐Ÿท๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿฆ†๐Ÿฐ

Natural animal treats (dried meat, offal, skins, ears, bones) give the dog primarily health, entertainment and support in oral hygiene. They are rich in easily digestible protein, vitamins and minerals, without harmful chemicals, colours or preservatives

Digging a hunting dog is mainly a manifestation of a strong hunting instinct, allowing you to track down and extract small rodents (moles, voles) hidden underground. It is also a way to discharge excess energy, cool down on hot days, bury "treasures" (toys, food) and reduce stress or boredom.

Here are the main reasons and benefits of digging for a hunting dog:

Hunting instinct (norisation): Dogs such as terriers or dachshunds dig to get into the game that lives under the surface of the earth.

Energy discharge: Intensive digging is a form of physical labour that allows the dog to discharge energy and maintain fitness.

Thermoregulation: Digging a hole allows the dog to reach cooler, moist soil, which helps cool the body.

Hiding resources: Instinctively hiding food or toys in the ground gives the dog a sense of security.

Mental stimulation and fun: For a bored dog, kicking is a form of activity that takes time and satisfies the natural need for exploration.

It is worth remembering that if the kicking results from the hunting instinct, it can be difficult to eliminate, so it is often a better method to redirect this energy to olvoring or training.

Work

Sometimes when we learn something new, things don't always work out. I record everything, whether it works or not. I'm a professional, but he taught me that sometimes it takes hundreds of repetitions, focus, and patience to achieve what you want.

When we train, we focus on ourselves, everything else doesn't matter.

In my training method, it is important for me that the dog understands my commands without having to say them, only gestures.

I invite you to follow my profile, if you have any problem write to me

Bonfire or Fireworks Night is a uniquely British event. It commemorates the successful foiling of a plot to blow up King James I and Parliament by Catholic subversives in 1605.

Even when explosions occur at a considerable distance, dogs can still hear them and may feel anxiety and fear. These sounds signal impending danger and can be a signal to run and hide. Sudden flashes in the sky following fireworks can also trigger fear.

My methods are:
touch (it calms my dog) -
if you have a crate, cover it so the dog feels safe
-give him a chew toy
-sniffing
-chewing treats
